Renovated mid century house. Centrally located so you can walk to everything. Close to shops and walking tracks. Has Bbq and games in the garage in case it rains.

Doors from lounge leads to a porch with outdoor table and chairs. There is a garden with fruit and herbs you can help your self too.

Kitchen is fully equipped. Including Nespresso coffee machine.

Washing machine and clothes line if you need to catch up on washing.

Two comfortable queen beds with electric blankets and mattress toppers. And two single beds. All beds have wool or feather duvets.

There is a heatpump in lounge and panel heater in hallway for colder winter days.

Great location -quiet-close to walk everywhere. Home need's maintenance-squeaky doors, loose screws in the front door handle, light bulb in hallway burned out.

Well located

Can walk to most hikes to the glacier so ideal for a 2-3 day stay. The house is comfortable and well stocked and centrally located. It was great for our needs.

Comfortable and spacious in great central location

We had a really enjoyable 2 night stay. The house is within easy walking distance of attractions, restaurants and shops. We had a beautiful view of the mountains from the kitchen and one bedroom. Check in was super simple. Would definitely recommend.

Home surrounded by beautiful scenery.

The check in process was easy and the house was mostly as described however, many different aspects of the house show use and damage which need to be fixed. The surrounded area had many places to visit, including restaurants, walks and shops.

Great location

A very spacious and comfortable home within easy walking distance of everything Franz Josef has to offer and only a 45 minute drive to Fox Glacier.

Great location in Franz Josef

This was a comfy house for my family and I to stay in while visiting Franz Josef. Great walkable location in town. The shower was clogged with hair when we arrived which we resolved, though the owners did respond promptly to our message about this concern. Beds were comfortable and clean. We appreciated the supply of toys which our 3yo enjoyed.

I spent there with my family a very nice stay! The house is very clean, very well equipped and beautiffuly decorated, quiet and pleasant. I recommend it without a doubt!

This cottage had everything we needed for our brief stay in Franz Josef. Close to shops and restaurants. The house is warm and well fitted out, renovated kitchen and bathroom a plus.

Great home for families

We enjoyed our stay. It was comfortable and warm. We were pleasantly surprised to see a bit of the glacier from one of the bedroom windows on a clear day. Close to restaurants and other touristy things. The host was very accomodating of our requests :)

Convenient to Franz Joseph

We stayed 2 nights in this comfortable house which is an easy walk to everything in the town of Franz Joseph: restaurants, some local tracks, and experience providers. Good location to drive to Fox Glacier area as well.
