You are on vacation and it is very important to us that you enjoy yourself! We also understand that every guest has a different preference on how much interaction they have with the host. Nisqually Highland Ranch is located in an upscale, gated community of 20+ acre lots with custom homes. The estate is located on Forest Reserve property with access to the Nisqually River, miles of groomed trails for hiking and horseback riding, parks for picnicking and rivers for fishing! An outdoor lover's paradise!! The Nisqually River Forest Reserve also includes an abundant wildlife population. Black bear, cougar, elk, bobcat, deer, grouse, eagles and dozens of other species of wildlife have all been spotted in the area. We truly hope you enjoy everything this home and the surrounding area has to offer!

During your stay you will have access to most everything this 40-acre estate has to offer!
There is an apartment above the separate garage that HAS AN AMAZING FULL TIME TENANT (short term guests are also allowed on occasion when our full time tenant is out of town). This area is not included in your rental (feel free to inquire if it is available to rent if you are needing additional lodging). Please respect their privacy and we absolutely request the same from them. Parking is shared, please do not block their vehicle. There is plenty of parking space conveniently located in the carport area and in front of the gravel driveway :-)
**Laundry Room**
There is a laundry room adjacent to the kitchen! We are happy to provide access to this potentially SHARED space during your stay as needed. We know how convenient it is to be able to utilize a WASHER and DRYER and are very happy to have this available for your use :-) If the adjacent loft does happen to be occupied during your stay the tenant may also request access to the laundry room as needed. There is a locked door between the laundry room and your kitchen to ensure your personal space is not accessible (the tenant would have access via a separate exterior access door).

**Nisqually Highland Ranch has 40 acres of land you are free to roam! Our horse-loving guests are welcome to contact us if they would like to bring their horses along! We have a horse arena and several sectioned off gated areas with plenty of pasture! If you open a gate, please close it behind you, but wander as you please (except in gated padlocked areas where horses are currently located-a sign will show you those designated areas) and enjoy the 40 acres!!!! Safety First;-)

The office can also be used as an additional bedroom for our larger groups. We provide 2 chairs in this room that can be converted into small sleeper sofas (they are each 77" long, 25" wide, 440lbs max) for extra sleeping space!

This large Craftsman home is perfect for families, small reunions, work related functions, and getaways with a small group of friends. You just found your home away from home !! ***Absolutely NO parties are permitted and no unregistered guests are allowed on the property without prior consent.** We do, on occasion, allow weddings, baby showers, etc. Please inquire prior if interested.
This 40-acre estate is located in a rural area and a vehicle will be necessary to access any local amenities. Upon entrance into the gated community (a keycode will be provided to each guest prior to arrival), the last few minutes of driving will be on a GRAVEL ROAD. Out of respect for the community we request that ALL GUESTS DRIVE under 20mph ON THIS ROAD.
We do our very best to provide our guests with a wide range of amenities to help make everyone's stay as convenient and comfy as possible:)
This home is equipped with a full sized fridge/freezer, oven/stovetop, pots, pans, glassware, utensils, paper towels, silverware, sharp knives, coffee pot, toaster, microwave, fresh towels, fresh sheets, extra blankets, soap, shampoo, coffee, tea, toilet paper, stand up shower, hair dryer, iron, flat screen TV's with streaming capability, smoke alarm, carbon monoxide detector and fire extinguisher.
**Liability Waiver:
All activities on this property are at your own risk. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising during your stay at The Nisqually Highland Ranch and hold the Property Owner, Host and Lakeview Getaways, LLC harmless. You agree to be fully and solely responsible for all accidents or injury that may occur inside or outside the home. You understand the risks discussed above and agree that you will assume all responsibility for yourself and for those in your party. You agree to waive any claim whatsoever against owners, the host and Lakeview Getaways, LLC for accidents or claims regarding any and all incidents that may occur on the property. All Guests in your party acknowledge and agree that they have read and understand this waiver and they acknowledge that confirmation by booking this home constitutes a binding and enforceable contract between all Guests, the Host, Lakeview Getaways, LLC and the Property Owners.
