Location is ideal, however floor in kitchen was seeping water between seams, could not run dishwasher because of that and basically couldn’t sit at the large table. Not enough towels for 7 people. Pull out sofa was extremely uncomfortable with springs that were ready to pop through. Had trouble connecting to WiFi, asked front desk to look into it and still did not work. I am a repeat guest and this property went downhill. Would not recommend until leak in floor is fixed.

It was just what we were looking for, easy to get to the beach and a decent pool. It’s also nice to be within walking distance of so many restaurants and shops.

Great location, definitely recommend!

This was our 2nd time staying at this resort and we love the location. We loved this unit and it accommodated our family of 6 including ages 3, 16, 19 and 3 adults. My daughter loved that there was also beach toys available! We will definitely book and stay again!

Incredible Condo!

We had a blast staying in this unit! Excellent views, very spacious, perfect amount of seating in all main rooms. Our 4 teenage girls were enthralled with the private elevator! Will definitely stay again.

Great spring break for a family of 6

We had an awesome time at Madeira Bay Resort. Our kids are 18, 17, 14 and 11. They loved bopping around from the pool, to the beach, to St. John's Pass. The location is fantastic. The layout of the unit provided good separation as well. My only suggestion would be investing in new pots and pans. Other than that, the stay was great!

Overall, great stay. I would have liked the bunk bed room to be in better shape- the bed was not stable so we didnt use that room during our stay.

Great location and a big place!

We loved the three bedrooms and the two very big and comfortable couches. The elevator opening right into your kitchen was amazing. The beach access was also very easy. The only con was there were not enough elevator or door keys. Beautiful view!

Great views from windows

We really enjoyed our stay. My family was blown away by the private elevator that opened into the suite and the views from the windows were amazing. It did not have a balcony but that was fine because we had young children with us and didn’t have to worry about them. We had plenty of space and the kids enjoyed the bunk beds. Best of all was the safe crossing to the beach and the walking proximity to John’s Pass for shopping and restaurants.

apartment was great, pool closed too early and had so much chlorine it ruined EVERYONE's swimwear...don't use the pool & hot tub. very cheap with toilet paper & towels, bring your own, and all your own toiletrys

Great location, filthy dirty.

The location was great, close to the beach and downtown but the place is pretty 'tired'. I don't think they even mopped the floor, my feet were black after 30 min, bugs in the sink, bugs on the counter, baseboards and such were grimey, pubic hairs all over the bathroom. It was pretty gross. They need to do a deep clean on this place and then it may be fine. Paint the dirty walls and mop the floors and you'd have a nice spot to stay.

Helpful hints

Bring your own beach towels (none provided), toilet paper (minimal provided), dishwasher pods (one provided), and laundry pods (if necessary). None of the windows open on this property and, as was mentioned previously, there is no balcony. All said, it was a great location, and wonderful stay. Thank you.

Cleanliness

Everything was good , location etc except for cleaning the unit, there was a lot of dust, the floor was dirty, that day I had to go to Walmart to buy a mop to clean the floor because I was with two infants. The washer and dryer were full of beach sand, a sign that it had not been cleaned in a while. Otherwise everything was fine.

Great location, could use a few extra touches

Positives: Great location! Loved being able to walk to lots of coffee shops, bars and restaurants. Check-in/check-out process was very easy. Even with a very long airline delay and arriving in the middle of the night, staff was easy and accommodating. Negatives: We had a group of 8 adult women and ran out of towels. There was no laundry detergent to wash our towels so we had to go buy soap. The mattress in the queen bed room is very sunken in on the right side, we were falling off the side of the bed. Probably time to replace the mattress. No dish washing liquid to hand wash dishes. Need more silverware. Toilet paper was very thin so we brought our own after reading other reviews. Would recommend doing so!

It was a nice place; plenty of room; close to John's pass; unfortunately to cold to visit beach close to walk. Couple things could be repaired; refrig; ceiling tiles. Suggestion to have some garbage bags and hand or dish soap. But overall very nice and would go back

Great place close to the beach

The apartment was perfect for a Long Beach weekend. Check in was a breeze. We were able to be at the beach within minutes. We also walked to treasure Island, very convenient.

Perfect spacious condo

I booked this condo for my 30th birthday trip and it was so cute, clean and spacious. The elevator opens right into the unit which totally gives it penthouse vibes. Beds are pretty comfy, the harbor view is beautiful and it’s right beside some restaurants and shopping. I will say the water pressure from the bathroom sinks is awful and it definitely needs to be fixed but overall it was a great unit and I’d book it again in a heartbeat!
