We had a relaxing time at Mistle Cove! The view was beautiful and the condo was well equipped with everything we needed. There were plenty of restaurants and a nearby beach :)

Another wonderful stay at Mistle Cove

This is our second visit to Barbados and this apartment in Mistle Cove. It didn’t disappoint and we had another amazing 2 weeks making memories and enjoying the sun. The location, apartment, weather and everything was perfect and we will definitely be back soon.

Paradise found

Spent 2 weeks at the apartment and can only say it was magical. The apartment itself is fantastic and has all mod cons to make it a home from home the location superb right in the centre of the gap and the view...wow looking out at your own private beach with a panoramic view of the ocean behind with turtles bobbing up and down..breathtaking

Beautiful apartment, stunning views, great location, loads of places in walking distance or hire a car if you’re wanting to explore the amazing beaches. Great communication, lovely safe area and we wouldn’t change a thing. Truly magical holiday we will be back x

Stunning views

On arrival we were amazed by the stunning views and sound of the ocean. The property manager was very friendly and helpful and the apartment lovely and comfortable. It had everything we needed in a great location for bars and restaurants. The gardener keeps the grounds in pristine condition and the pool is the perfect temperature! We had a lovely relaxing holiday. Thank you!

The Gap

This is our 9th trip to Barbados, but our first time at this condo. June is everything we expected of a host, there was even Banks in the refrigerator! She gave us advice on jet ski vendors. Great location, and can't wait to return to our "second" home.

Spectacular

The property is right on the beach and close to everything. We saw baby and grown turtles right from the balcony! The condo is extremely clean, beautifully furnished with perfect air conditioning. I would recommend it highly.

Fantastic condo

Fantastic from start to finish. Spotlessly clean, large condo, with large terrace and great views of the ocean. Very well equipped kitchen and excellent showers and a/c. Although St Lawrence Gap is lively, the condos themselves were so quiet and secure. Some noise from Sharkey's bar opposite at the back of the condo, but my daughter said it didn't keep her awake. Beautiful well kept grounds with resident hummingbird, and warm pool. Beach in front had resident crabs, and turtles came up at night to lay their eggs (end June). We didn't swim off the beach as it was a little rough. No noise from Restrevor Hotel or Mimosas restaurant next door. Really excellent communication from Manager June throughout our stay - nothing was too much trouble.

Perfect Ocean Front Condo

Our family of 4 very much enjoyed our stay. I don’t think it is possible to stay any closer to the ocean. The view of the water and the sound of the waves was truly amazing. The condo was clean and efficient with plenty of space for us. It was pretty quiet with the sound of the waves drowning out any street noise. The condo beach is small and rocky, but Dover beach which was a 5 min walk away was perfect for going in the water. A lot of sargassum came in the night before we arrived, but it was gone within 2 days. Other beaches were fine, it seems to just come and go. The pool is small, but clean and was a good place to relax and meet other guests. The location is in the heart of St. Lawerence Gap with numerous restaurants and bars within walking distance. Overall, it was a great stay and we would recommend Mistle Cove.

Memorable Holiday

We stayed here for 9 nights at the beginning of May '23, Communication with the Owners was excellent from the booking process to any query's we had about the Island in general. All emails were answered very promptly. A previous review mentioned a problem with the Cooker / Hob but is just a switch on the wall so no issue there. June, the lady who manages the property was a real gem and full of knowledge and advice about Barbados. There is a tiny beach directly in front of the apartments and Dover beach is only a couple of minutes walk from the apartments. Plenty of restaurants and bars from High End to Budget in the immediate area, We hired a car to explore the Island although excursions are easy to book if preferred, All in All, a fabulous holiday with a lovely, clean apartment as a base.

Really nice - We will be back

The location was perfect, and the condo extremely clean. The furnishings were in nice shape and of good quality. There was no dearth of items in the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. Kitchen items were clean and of good quality. In general, the condo was very clean, spacious, and well equipped. I would suggest, however, that the faucets in both showers would be more efficient and more enjoyable to use if they had a rotating feature. We felt quite safe in the environment, and other guests seemed to respect the space in terms of noise and attention to neatness. With the beautiful Caribbean Sea and its sparkling waves on one side and Sharkey’s on the other, the location was absolutely superb. I would, however, suggest that you create a guidebook that would describe, among other things, how to operate the TV system. Might even include the phone, since some us have not used that type of phone in years: also the location of the energy source for the stove. We figured out the phone and the switch for the stove, but with so many more worthwhile things to engage us, we relished the TV-less week. We will be back for more than one week, provided we are able to share the cost. Unfortunately, for this trip, our friend informed us at the last moment that he was sick and unable to travel.

Fantastic

I challenge you to find a better value for this price. Walk to many fine restaurants or street fare, bars and entertainment. One of the island's popular beaches is a 5 minute walk away or if you want very low key, semi-private (no beaches in Barbados are private) then you can just walk to the back of the building to the pool or beach. If you have a vehicle, the main highway is 2 minutes from the property to get to points north and west easily, as well as the Airport which is East and 20 minutes away.

Winter Break -

Excellent property, lots of space, new appliances - furniture - TV (with great internet & satellite), large oceanfront deck with exceptional views over ocean, great location - walk to St. Lawrence Gap or Dover Beach. Good swimming (with water shoes).

Absolutely Fantastic.

Our party was made up of my partner and I and her 19 and 21 year old niece's I cannot recommend this property and location enough. Right from the start of the booking process the communication with Janet the owner was excellent. she was always quick to respond to any correspondence. We were met at the property by the manager June who was aslways available throughout our stay for any help or advice. The pictures really do not do the apartment justice it's beautiful. The view is amazing, the large balcany gets the sun from sunrise to sunset. The apartment has everything that you need for a self catering holiday and it's all really good quailty. The bed in the master bedroom is super large, really comfortable and all you can hear at night are the waves from the Carabbean, perfect !! The location is also perfect. Right amongst the restaurants and bars of the main strip in St Lawrence Gap. We particulary enjoyed the food in Primo and Tabu. 5 minutes walk from the apartment one way takes you to Dover beach which was our favourite. Clear turquoise Water,we swam with the turtles,Soft white sand and plenty of water activities on the beach. There are also a couple of beach restaurants. 12 minutes walk in the other direction from the apartment is Worthing beach which is simular but has a slightly livelier vibe. I would definitley recommend an Island tour, Bathsheba beach On the East coast, Cherry Tree Hill and Hunte's Gardens are Well worth visiting. It was fabulous, we can wait to go back next year.

Perfect Getaway

We can't say enough great things about this property. Very well appointed, spacious, clean and a beautiful view. We even saw baby turtles making their way to the ocean. Location is in the middle of the Gap; close to several restaurants, bars and beaches. Property Manager 'June" was a delight and very helpful. Communication with owner, Janet, was effortless. Thank you both!
