DESCRIPTION:
Perfect for six, this luxury, corporate apartment in a boutique block of only twelve apartments, is brilliantly located in a modern city-edge precinct in Moonee Ponds on the edge of Essendon. It is only a stones throw to cafes, shops and restaurants in the nearby village near the Essendon train station.

Highlights include split-system heating and cooling, solid hardwood floors, plus video intercom, secure foyer and undercover parking spaces.

This is a large apartment; much bigger than many other three-bedroom apartments in Melbourne, and includes modern appliances and premium quality decor. Recently renovated and refurbished, efficient layouts allow for more living space whilst maintaining access to all modern appliances when required.

This spacious apartment includes a large, 30m2 balcony with 180 degree, commanding views towards the City itself, and to the east and west. The summer sunsets especially are just beautiful here. You can sit back and enjoy the expansive views and watch the sunsets reflecting off the towers in the city, or simply entertain family and friends in this large, private space.
There is an elevator from the car park on the ground floor to the apartment.
Note from the owner:
We loved the location of this apartment, walking distance to Essendon Station, Queens Park and Moonee Ponds Central, along with many other shops and cafes in the area. We always stay here when visiting family in the Essendon and Moonee Ponds area, and its an easy trip into the city for the theatre or the football! The view from the large sized balcony is gorgeous and this size balcony is hard to find in many apartments. The open plan living room, secure parking and modern bathrooms are a plus.
We have multiple alternative apartments available, in inner Melbourne locations.
LOCATION:
The address is 829 Mt Alexander Road, Moonee Ponds and this location has a Walk Score of 90 out of 100. It is Very Walkable so most errands can be accomplished on foot. It is a six-minute walk from the 59 Airport West - Flinders Street Station (City) at the 40-Nicholson St/Fletcher St (Essendon) stop.

This location is in the Moonee Ponds neighbourhood in Melbourne. Nearby parks include Queens Park, Clarinda Park and Montgomery Reserve; Montgomery Park. Positioned for absolute convenience, Queens Park, Essendon Station, local cafes and renowned shopping precincts are all within walking distance as well as easy access to the areas many educational institutions and elite private schools.

This extra large, luxurious apartment is in an brilliant location for a city stay; close to the city but not in it. (The city trams are just 200m up the road on the palm tree-lined Mount Alexander Road at Fletcher St). You can easily enjoy its first class entertainment, arts, sporting and social options or just as easily wander to nearby cafes, restaurants and shops; including a DFO and large shopping centre nearby. You can easily explore the unique boutiques and indulge in renowned designer brands. With all you need on your doorstep and an expansive city view, you will love this apartment and the location.

This is walking distance to Moonee Ponds shopping precinct and Moonee Valley Racecourse, and Flemington Racecourse and Tullamarine Airport are very close as well.
Getting There
The easiest and quickest way to the Moonee Ponds Penthouse is to take a taxi or Uber. Otherwise, you can take the Skybus from outside the airport terminal to Southern Cross train station in downtown Melbourne, then cross over to the Glenbervie metro train line. Hop off at Essendon station. It is only a 300m walk to the apartment). Full directions instructions on how to access your apartment will be provided once your booking is confirmed with StayCentral.

Getting Around
To get to the CBD, walk to Essendon Train Station and take the train to the city.
To get to Moonee Ponds amazing shopping strip, take the train; one stop only to Moonee Ponds, or walk 800m down Mt Alexander Road. Also, if you only travel on the trams within the city grid, it's free, and you don't need a Myki card.

Guest Interaction
We will send you instructions on how to collect your keys on site from our greeters, once your booking is confirmed. Our office is remote from the apartment, so we communicate by phone or email. We always check with you within 24 hours of arrival to make sure that everything is okay, but we are available by phone and email for extended office hours every day.
A guest folder with full instructions and local information is supplied in all of our apartments.

Pet StaysNB: Many of our properties, (including this one) are pet-friendly, but only with approval, and as long as they are quiet, and do not damage or climb on the furnishings! The pet stay fee is not included in the rate and is $135 (base rate) plus $5 per night per pet.
SECURITY BOND - FOR SOME GUESTSFor stays of 28+ nights and bookings made within 5 days of arrival, you will be required to pay a refundable bond of $1200.00. Payments of this bond by credit card or International Bank Transfer will incur fees which are not refundable. Please note bonds may be requested at the managers discretion. Bonds are due 7 days before arrival and are refunded within 14 days of departure. The bond will be debited for any damage, missing items, excessive cleaning or food or rubbish removal.

CREDIT CARDSAll bookings require a credit card to be held on file for security purposes during your stay. Any credit cards used must be added by the guest and verified by our 3DSecure security verification process. Cards that cannot be verified will not be accepted.
