Great location, less than great upkeep

Location and view was great, short walk to beach and tram but unit cleanliness and upkeep should have been better. Unit was not cleaned adequately upon arrival and cleaning staff assigned to correct and take care of mid-stay clean did not do even the basics (clean floors, bathrooms, empty garbage). Kitchen supplies were VERY limited, not what we have experienced at other VRBO locations. Building amenities are starting to show signs of inadequate upkeep and lack of ongoing investment. Main entrance to building passes by garbage bin shed. This appears to be the first building of a larger scale development that seems to have stalled out.

Staying at Surfers

The Ruby suited our stay. Very clean and great views. Our flight was delayed and we arrived at 2am, so checking in was a little challenging. But overall great place to stay.
