Sandhill Gardens Retreat, close to Rangiora, Woodend ,Kaiapoi and Pegasus.

Large modern villa with 4 large bedrooms , multiple sleeping options for family groups. With a wrap around verandah and ranch sliders from downstairs living areas and bedroom you can access the north facing, beautiful and well established gardens and lawns. Enjoy the amazing sunsets and night sky gazing. Nearby Woodend beach is great for swimming in summer and the woodland beach reserve trail can be walked or biked from Woodend all the way through Pegasus to Waikuku. The home's quiet rural setting with established trees and gardens, contains an abundance of mature plant species including Rhododendrons, Camelias, Pin oaks, Maples, Dogwoods, flowering Cherries, Roses and Hydrangeas which provide a haven for native birds. Listen for the tui , fantail , quail and pheasant's call. With a rural outlook on all sides , but 5 minutes from the main highway and just 5 - 10 minutes from Kaiapoi, Woodend and Rangiora townships. The best of both worlds!

The place was very nice. Accommodated 8 of us comfortably. Clean and tidy. Close to where we wanted to be. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was easy to cook in.

We will definitely be back if we are ever in the area again. Margaret was amazing. Everything was well organised, and the rooms were spotless, with fresh linens. Family get together

The place was perfect for our extended family who had gathered for a funeral. Gorgeous fire & plenty of space & bathrooms for everyone. Short drive to Woodend Beach which we loved too. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic property

Great location, you feel well away from everyting, but you are only 10mins from Rangiora. So much space in the house, great layout, everything you need. Awesome place to sray.

Fantastic house, good sized bedrooms, large bathrooms, multiple spacious communal areas. Great communication. Would love to come back, there is so much to do in the area.

Wonderful homely stay

We had such a lovely time! The place felt like staying with family. The owners were around more than I anticipated , but their horse was not well so understandable.

Fantastic Family House

We had the best time on this property catching up with family. So much living space and beautiful blossoms to look at in the garden. Fantastic rural outlook but close to supermarkets/food places as well. Would highly recommend this house
