Our stay at the cabin far exceeded my expectations. Well stocked kitchen, spacious living room, and comfy bed. Tha ambiance was spectacular and the host decorated the cabin for Christmas including a lit tree and stockings. Such great touches that made our stay special. Will stay here again.

AWESOME MONTANA EXPERIENCE

Who wants a hotel when you can stay in a restored cabin built over a 100 years ago? Nothing left out, down to cleaning products, snacks, toiletries and I could go on and on. The flowers hanging to welcome us. Beautiful cabin and furnishings, in an awesome area of Montana. Would love to go back.
Such a well-cared for place to stay. Eric did a top-notch job of restoring the cabin.

Beautiful restored cabin — friendly and helpful property management. Hiking and fishing opportunities abound! Enjoyed watching the deer that visit the cabin several times a day .

My wife and I stayed here for a week in February. It was perfect for the two of us. Quiet, peaceful, and absolutely beautiful. The interior of the cabin was exceptionally clean and well stocked. The grounds and views were brilliant. Eric, the owner, is extremely nice. We will definitely stay here again.

Montana getaway

This beautifully restored log cabin is amazing. The setting is peaceful and the view is spectacular. It is far enough away from town that you feel like you are in the wilderness yet a short drive to everything you want. The property was spotless and the owner was friendly and helpful. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was modern. We enjoyed hearing about the restoration from the owner. We would highly recommend this cabin for your Montana getaway!

Great choice!

We were very impressed with this property and with the owner. Eric (the owner) put his heart and soul into renovating this cabin to make it the perfect combination of rustic, quaint, and modern. It is just two miles from Hwy 93 in Hamilton, but very peaceful, quiet, and pastoral. We didn’t have time to explore the hiking trails, but would’ve loved to given the chance. While there is no central A/C, the cabin is well insulated and stayed plenty cool with just windows open and a fan for our mid-August stay. There is a lovely fire pit with 4 Adirondack chairs which was perfect for evening/morning get togethers. Eric was kind enough to set up the fire pit for us without even asking him to. We did not use the loft (our kids are grown) but it would be just fine for two younger children, and I’m sure they would love having their own little upstairs hideaway. The kitchen is stocked with basic cooking and serving items. As with most vacation rentals, there is a hodge-podge mix of seasonings, coffee, and leftover staples in the kitchen cabinets. Bathroom essentials are provided, should you need that (toothbrush/paste kit, small shaving kit, sewing kit). Washer and dryer are included should you wish to do laundry while on your vacation 😊. Overall, a very pleasant experience, and we will be back.

The Cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Rustic, modern, warm and cozy. Everything and anything we needed was within arms reach. Well stocked rooms including laundry room. You wont find a better cozy cabin in the Bitterroots. Eric the host has now become a friend. Book your stay and enjoy it as much as we did. All the Best, K&J

A great cabin. Eric put so much thought into the design of the cabin. Everything worked. Very comfortable. Location is great. Very quiet,. Ate all of our meals outside which was very enjoyable. Great place to relax under the apple tree. Could not have been a better stay. Eric is very generous and gave us great suggestions for hikes and restaurants.

Cabin Coziness supreme

Words alone can’t express the beauty and warmth of this little cabin full of coziness. All the amenities with a setting to take your breathe away. Sitting outside you feel the full impact of the mountains only 10 minutes out of town. Exceptionally Quite. Clean. Well appointed. Eric is a gracious and kind host. His work to recover the original style and 1885 history of the cabin can’t be understated. He brought it back to life. His hard work and dedication to authenticity is amazing. Got a quite coupled wekend or making family memories, this is a Montana gem. Thanks Eric. We will be back.
