The fact that at the height of the season Dromana is an easy drive from Melbourne, avoiding the bottlenecks that begin at Rosebud. Saving you time, making this an easy journey. They truly feel that they are getting away from the hustle and bustle of city life or the busier peninsula beach towns. Easy access to the Wineries, Cellar doors, markets and Dromana’s own thriving attractions.

We have made sure that our property has all the amenities to ensure you have a relaxing holiday. Creating an amazing space that promotes relaxation, rejuvenation and fun times together.

Perfectly located at the foot of Arthurs Seat, and the Eagle Chair lift, this gorgeous family friendly getaway is truly amazing!

The beautiful Bay Beach and foreshore are just at the bottom of the street, with a short stroll to the many shops, restaurants, ice cream parlours and playgrounds.

The Big 3 Drive In Cinema is close by, it’s one of only 16 in the whole of Australia! Kids love the experience while you reminisce; Book and experience the magic. We have extra blankets at the house that you can take to stay comfy while you watch your chosen movie.

Dromana boasts a Rum Distillery, excellent micro Breweries, Dairy and Vegan Cheeseries, A fantastic Coffee Roasting company that sells quality coffee and beans which they will grind to your specifications. Take some back to the house to make your morning brew! Millers bread kitchen also provides great Gluten Free options.

Close by the property you’ll find the historic Heronswood House and Gardens. Just make sure you leave some time to stop for some organic fare, and enjoy a coffee at their cafe. Discover the rest of the Peninsula from this central location. The wineries in Red Hill and Merricks, and the Hot Springs at Rye are all just a short drive away.

We have thought of everything to ensure it’s well equipped for the needs of families so you don't have to worry about bringing everything with you.

Free NBN WIFI! Netflix compatible TV, Bluetooth connectability for stereo and TV. There are toys, games and books for you and the family to enjoy. If you love the book you are reading, you are welcome to take it home.

In the well equipped kitchen, you'll find a barista coffee machine available for your use. If you love your coffee. Take your favourite fresh espresso grind. We provide some tea, instant coffee, sugar, oil and some basic pantry items for your convenience.

The tranquil front lounge has a wood burning open fireplace and comfy sofas. Perfect to relax with a book or to catch up with each other and enjoy a glass of wine. The fire is wonderful in winter.

There is full ducted heating to keep everyone cosy and warm in colder weather, and in summer the evaporative system throughout the house will keep everyone cool, which works remarkably well, allowing for open doors with cool air. There are pedestal fans provided if preferred.

The dining table seats 8 comfortably which leads through to the open plan well equipped kitchen and an additional lounge area with a flat screen smart TV and stereo system.

With 5 good sized bedrooms there is plenty of space for everyone. The master queen bedroom is at the front of the house with an ensuite and walk in robes. The 2 other queen bedrooms are at the rear, 1 with access to the deck area and garden. The 4th bedroom has one bunk bed, double on bottom, single on top (single is suitable for a child or small adult only) Plus a single bed. The 5th bedroom has 2 singles. Please note that the pictures for this room show an old bunk bed.

A porta cot and high chair and x 2 side bed rails for toddlers are available for use.

The second bathroom has a corner spa bath and a separate shower. Next to the bathroom is a European Laundry with a washing machine, dryer and laundry sink. A clothes horse and laundry basket is provided, with a washing line outside. The 2nd toilet is located next to the bathroom and laundry.

Our large outdoor entertaining area is the perfect space for long lazy lunches and summer BBQs. Or winters by the chimenea roasting marshmallows, drinking your favourite beverage.

The spacious deck has an outdoor table, seating 8, plus 2 comfortable wooden deck chairs, with thick armrests for your cup of coffee.

When you open the french doors, from the hallway and lounge room, the space becomes accessible and fluid.

The landscaped garden is fully fenced, with a cute cubby house to keep your littlies amused for hours. We are dog friendly for well-behaved furbabies.

This property is not suitable for schoolies and we do not accept bookings for schoolies. If parents book the property for schoolies without informing us we will need to evict the booking. There are specialist websites that support schoolies bookings.

Excellent for families
We had two families stay with kids ranging from babies to teens and there was so much space and added extras for kids with games and toys. Great location we will definitely stay again!

Great house for a large group
Plenty of outdoor space for meals or kids to play, even for yoga in the morning sun. Lots of indoor space for cooking and talking. Super comfy rooms and just a short walk to a lovely beach. Thoroughly recommended.

Fantastic space

Local laws

While we have not had any issues with our lovely guests, we are required to make you aware of some local rules that apply to all short-term rentals on the Mornington Peninsula, these include:
- No parties, gatherings or events.
- No loud or aggressive behaviour.
- Guests must only park onsite.
- Outdoor areas cannot be used between 11pm and 7am
- Neighbours have the right to call the property owner and /or the local police if they feel any of the rules are being broken or guests' behaviour is impacting them, to which the property owner must respond immediately.
- Failure to comply with the local shire rules will result in termination of the rental agreement and guests will be required to leave immediately.
