Loved the place, great location. The front door lock is a bit quirky but once we figured it out it was no problem. House was great, love the back outdoor space but the deck needs a little bit of tlc. Overall we loved it and would absolutely book again.

Stayed 3 nights Sept 2026. Property was as advertised. Lots of room for 8. 4 spacious bedrooms. Comfortable beds and linens. Kitchen is fully equipped. Beautiful view from the deck and 2 of the upstairs bedrooms. Lots of board games and books. Would definitely rent it again. The cleaning staff could do a better job by looking after the cobwebs on cupboards and fireplace mantel. Enjoyed our stay

This being our second time we have found once again how great this location is, family and dog friendly, quiet neighborhood and beautiful views, spacious house with a well equipped kitchen. We hope to keep returning to this beautiful place in the future.

The description of the second king bedroom did not say that it was upstairs. As we had 2 people with mobility problems in our group I thought it was great that 2 bedrooms would be on the main floor but actually only one is.

The place was relatively clean but noticed some dirty areas around some furniture. The yard could have been amazing and beautiful but it was not maintained and looked neglected. It is a great location with a short walk to the ocean along with ocean views from the deck and 2 of the bedrooms.Overall we had a nice and would consider staying here again

This is a really nice property with good space and access to the beach. Lots of outdoor space as well. We had a great time with two families. The only challenge we found was that two bedroomsdidn’t have curtains or blinds, just a sheer drape. It made sleeping arrange tricky with kids. But other than that we had a lovely stay.

We really enjoyed the location of the home, beautiful views.We did find the house cold so we had the heat going all the time, to be fair it is winter. All in all we were all happy!

Properties was as listed. Beautiful ocean view, clean and pet friendly. Landlord was very accommodating when we had to move our dates two weeks prior and was quick to respond. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again.

Island Christmas

This place was exactly what we were looking for. It was a great space - bigger than the pictures showed. It was a perfect space to 2 large families. It was great to have the big field and easy access to the beach. We loved the view as well.

Our family of 8 enjoyed our stay in this property. We found it exactly as described. The interior was pleasant spotless and comfortable. The kitchen was roomy and well stocked. The beds were comfortable with nice linens. The beach was wild and wonderful. I have two suggestions to improve this great accommodation: more comfy chairs in the living room (currently only seating for five including an ottoman) and tidy up the japanese garden. Thank you for the opportunity to use this property.

Beautiful view

The house was perfect lots of room very clean and everything you needed was easy to findThe outside has lots of seating and you couldn't ask for a better view of the water. Unfortunately the yard needs a complete overhaul nothing but weeds growing everywhere I would rent again if the yard was cleaned up

Nice beach house

We really enjoy our stay, it’s close to Parksville and Qualicum Beach. The house is very clean and it’s a 2-3 mins walk to the beach. For future guests, suggestion will be make sure you bring your own sugar and extra bowls if you plan to make food there.
