Accommodation at Bright Highland Valley Cottage 7 provides a delightful, cosy two bedroom cottage set in peaceful park-like grounds. The cottage has everything you would need in a holiday unit, bright, modern and comfortable.
Located only one kilometre from the centre of Bright you have everything you need close by plus more. Take a ten minute stroll to Bright’s restaurants and shops, adjacent to the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail and very close to the Heritage Canyon Walk along the Ovens River.

This property is managed on behalf of the owner by Bright Holidays (part of the Dickens Real Estate group).

KITCHEN/DINING
Fully equipped kitchen for those nights you'd prefer to stay in and cook. You'll have everything you need.

LOUNGEROOM
Spacious loungeroom with lots of couch space to cosy up infront of the digital TV and DVD player at the end of a busy day exploring Bright & surrounds.

Please note: This property DOES NOT have WIFI

HEATING & COOLING
Split system heating and cooling and electric blankets on the beds.

BATHROOM
Walk in shower and a separate toilet.

OUTDOORS
Plenty to enjoy outdoors at these cottages. At the cottage itself you can enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine on your own private veranda. In the warmer months, you can relax by the 10 meter, in-ground, salt water communal swimming pool while the kids go for a swim.

Off street parking for 1 car next to cottage. *Please do not park extra cars on common property particularly grassed areas. Extra cars will need to be parked on the street outside the complex.

Disappointing

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: For the amount we paid per night for our stay, we were disappointed with what we got.The cottage felt very dark inside and the decor was dated. The couch and kitchen looked like they had not been updated ever. The bed in the main bedroom was incredibly uncomfortable. It was two king singles pushed together. We were also not told that we had no WiFi until after we arrived in our 'welcome letter'. It would have been nice to know this before we arrived as we had patchy mobile reception in Bright and had a few important things that needed to be completed with the internet during our stay.

Bright Scape

The location of the unit was perfect for riding or walking to shops. The unit was a bit outdated but still functional and clean which was fine. My only complaint would be the bed in the main bedroom was not very comfortable.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property is very old and untidy. The property literally smell very bad. Exhaust fans in toilet and bathroom were not working. The furniture was very old. Walls had large cracks. Appliances were very old and uncleaned. Kids bedroom had previous guest used tissues under the bed. Mattress were too old in both the bedrooms. We stayed in cottage 7 and my brother stayed in cottage 6. Cottage 6 is completely refurbished and very clean. Cottage 7 was the worst. Both of them had same rent. I wont recommend this place.

Nice house let down by poor cleanliness

While the house was a nice size and located close to the town centre, the cleanliness was a huge let down for us. Finding a dirty tissue in the bedroom and hair on the floors was quite alarming upon check-in. The broken door for the second bedroom was extremely disappointing and meant our third guest had no privacy throughout the stay. The door was completely off it’s tracks with a piece of metal screwed into the ground to ensure the door wouldn’t move - even if you wanted it to. There were minor issues with the comfortability of the bed and pillows, they were outshone by the major issues in cleanliness.
