Great getaway!

The home was perfect for our family and our friends to stay. The split floor plan worked out great. We loved the kayaks. They kept the teenagers busy and adventurous the entire trip. Great place for a family!

Let me start off with how well stocked this place is. The kitchen had everythin even cookie cutters. Extra linens available in one of the bathrooms. Beds slept great. Games galore in every nook and cranny. So much room. Just be ready for all the stairs.

We pick a place every summer to meet up with family. This home was perfect. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms. Fully equipped kitchen which is nice because we mostly eat at the homes we stay. Beautiful deck where we had morning coffee. We enjoyed kayaking and also a movie every night in the downstairs. We found the Jitterbug Coffee shop also and became repeat customers

Another wonderful stay!

This is our second stay at this property and plan to come back again. We started coming in the fall and the trees and lake were beautiful. We were looking forward to hanging out around the fire pit, but unfortunately we were under a burn ban. The house is great and had plenty of room for our families and kids. Thank you for a great stay!

The property was pretty and house a nice size. We ejoyed the decks and view of the lake. Sunrises were amazing. Had to clean the deck middle floor deck before hanging out on it. Lots of bird poo and debris on chir and deck. Luckly there was a hose handy. Property maniger was still cleaning when we arived. The stairs were a hike to say the least unloading and loading all 10 women was a lot. Whould have been nice to have been informed we have all those stairs and no entry-level. We brought our pool sticks to find the table all tore up. Our feet were black from walking bare feet inside. Over all we made the best of it but felt mislead and disappointed in the overall cleanliness.

Spacious Home with Comfortable Beds

We had a group of 8 women for a Women's Weekend Retreat hosted by Nikki Ward of Free In Him Ministries. It was a retreat to relax, enjoy the outside beauty, fellowship with one another, worship together and experience the presence of the Lord together. There were many compliments on how beautiful the home was which had plenty of space, comfortable beds, and was fully stocked with supplies! The fireplaces were cozy and the ladies snuggled up with on the couches with the blankets as we met. It rained all weekend so we could not go outside to enjoy the beauty of the Lake and firepits. So, being inside was the only option which no one cared about because of the space. Would definetly stay there again!!

Wonderful lakeside retreat

We have 15 people in our family from ages 10 to 76. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and more. We really enjoyed kayaking on the lake and the peacefulness of the surroundings. It’s so close to everything we needed. We rented a pontoon boat at Greers Ferry Lake and had a blast. The hostess Ashley was very responsive which we appreciated. The only downside was no ice machine or ice maker. For a big family we had to buy ice 3-4 times during our stay. The house is beautiful and huge. We loved it so much!! Thank you for helping to make our vacation so special. We highly recommend this VRBO.

Perfect getaway!

This is an amazing updated, extremely clean hideaway just far enough out of town to allow for outdoor enjoyment, but close enough to town to shop or eat a delicious Italian dinner. We loved kayaking, fishing, and paddling out in the Jon boat right from the backyard! The outdoor firepit provided for yummy smores made nightly. Hiking and waterfalls are less than a 15 min drive away. The three-level home allowed our 13-person extended family to spend time together playing games and eating at the long 16 person table, while giving plenty of space for separate, comfortable and private sleeping spaces. Everyone found plenty to do from those aged 10 to the young 60s grandparents. The modern, spacious kitchen was great for eating in. The pool table, games, wifi, and TV provided indoor fun when taking a break from outdoor exploring. We can't wait to go back!

Family Reunion Retreat

Five star rating for this wonderfully furnished and equipped rental. Best equipped kitchen we've ever experienced. All we had to bring was food. Our group of five siblings and four spouses had plenty of room to gather or retreat to a bedroom, the den (designated quiet room) or the outside decks for some privacy. The 16 seat dining room table was the center of our activities: sharing a meal, playing scrabble, working on a jigsaw puzzle or completing a poster sized crossword puzzle. If our kids or grandkids have been with us, the boat, kayaks and the fishing poles would have been put to use of the beautiful private lake. The highlight of our stay was watching the total eclipse of the sun on April 8, 2024 from the outside decks! Highly recommend and planning a return stay with the other side of the family!

Fantastic experience

Our stay at the lakeside getaway was a fantastic experience. The house itself is beautiful with all the amenities you could need to cook large family meals and eat together at a beautiful table. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space and also great cozy couches to gather together to watch a movie or sit and visit. There were plenty of things to do, from games to hiking trails to the firepit, as well as plenty of things to do while spending time at the lake. We had a wonderful family vacation and will definitely be returning for another visit.
