The family loved Queenie’s Lakeview Star is a 2-bedroom accommodation with a stunning view of Lake Tekapo and Mt Edwards. You will be amazed by the view from the lounge and master bedroom all day long. There are one queen bed and one twin bed bedroom, perfect for a family of 4, modern bathroom, well-equipment facilities kitchen, perfect for a small family.

It is located in the middle of the Tekapo Residential area, 3 minutes drive or 15 minutes walk to the town center.

Cozy and modern - lovely place to stay

Fantastic experience. House was clean, modern and comfortable. Quiet neighborhood. Beautiful views. Hosts friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Glorious views

Excellent accommodation and location.Not happy that we lost the afternoon of our arrival due to Stayz not providing address and access details. Not easy communicating without internet beyond local cafe.

Pleasant Stay, but not at all homey

Everything needed was provided and the house was very clean. The carport behind the unit was nice to have. The house was very difficult to find in the dark with small numbers we only found the next morning. The common area was oversized (could hold 20 people easily) compared to the bedrooms, whicheach barely fit a bed. The beds were comfortable, but the house did not feel warm or welcoming. Lake Tekapo seems to be getting overly touristy and has lost its quant feel. This house fits the new vibe.

The only way our stay could possibly have been improved upon would be to have larger house numbers on the side of the property to make it easier to identify from the road, but this really is only a very small recommendation. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Lighting

The accommodation was lovely and we all enjoyed our stay. A minor niggle would be there was no lighting working at entrance to house with steps to navigate by elderly gentleman at night-time and a light bulb missing in the single beds bedroom.

This home was modern and very warm with heat pump and large windows. Pretty much looks like the photos published. The communication was excellent Down sides…. Advertiser with fireplace however this was decorated and unable to be used. This was a major reason for choosing this home so was quite disappointed. Would also love to know what happened to cause the scorch marks next to the kitchen? In spite of no fireplace I would happily stay here again

Great location, lovely place, friendly host

The location was really ideal, simply a walk away from shops + restaurants. Huge living room with a good bathroom. Really helpful and friendly interaction with host when checking in!
