The house is beautiful! Great location .. 10 minutes to Lithia Springs Marina. The only thing that I would wish is that the back decks were available! That would be a great view to wake up and have coffee on!

Family Thanksgiving

We booked this to come up and see my family for Thanksgiving. It made for a great visit as we had enough room for everyone to come eat and visit for the day. Would book again. Only complaint would be the internet service.

This place had everything we needed. Plenty of beds and 3 fill bathrooms. Just a perfect stay. Super clean and cozy. Backs up right to the woods, in a lovely neighborhood. We can't wait to come back.

Interior awesome

The interior of home was very nice, cozy and beautiful. The bedding, towels and throws were very nice. The exterior once decking and patio get upgraded would be very enjoyable. Kitchen is well supplied also. Missed a hairdryer, tin foil and storage bags, these items would be an asset. Thanks for the stay.

Just the absolute perfect home with everything we needed! Very spacious and slept everyone comfortably! Beautiful wooded location and outdoor living space. Quiet house close to Shelbyville

Family get away to boat at Lake Shelbyville. The inside of the house was very clean and fully stocked. However if you have young kids staying that like to explore the outside deck was in rough shape and a good part of limits. Lots of bricks were loose so just keep that in mind. Otherwise a nice quiet location.

Boating Birthday Weekend

Had a great trip and driving distance to the boat launch was 1 mile away. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Loved that there were three bathrooms and showers so no one waiting to get in. Internet slow but you’re in the woods so it’s expected. Overall it was a great trip and we would stay here again.

Nice property!

Very nice, roomy and clean home. Only had a couple of issues… air was not on when we arrived at 3:40, and it was about 90 degrees. It took several hours to cool down. Also had plenty of bath towels, but only had 6 washcloths… for 8 people. We would stay again to see the in-progress outside work completed, !

Great place off the beaten path (for anglers or family vaction)

Stay at many places over the years at Lake Shelbyville as we have an annual spring fishing trip. Overall worked out perfect and very nice place to come back to after a good days fishing. It appears there are some renovations happening on the outside of the property (deck areas) so the four seasons area was not available. The back deck and lower paver patio could use some refreshing. That would be the 4 ratings for cleanliness and accuracy as otherwise the amenities/accommodations inside the home were good. Would stay again.

Favorite lake weekend!

This house has a lot of space for our whole family. Everything was clean when we arrived. Communication was great. Air conditioning worked amazing compared to our visit last year. Only minor complaint would be that there is no drain catcher in the kitchen so it is hard to wash dishes without letting any food go down the drain. Also wish the outside was in bettwe shape. Seems like a missed opportunity and one guess did trip over a random brick near the driveway. Overall we would definitely stay again :)

Everything inside was 5 star. The accommodations fit our family perfectly. The outside decks I felt were hazardous, the back upper deck and the bottom deck. We were warned about the lower deck. We didn't use those areas at all. The outside maintenance such as the gutters and windows needed cleaning. We did use the lower side deck and enjoyed that. We did not speak to our need the property manager.

Beautiful Inside

Inside the house was beautiful! There’s no screens on the windows to let in fresh air and the pots & pans need to be replaced. The below deck has cation tape and the grill picture is not what looks like. After cleaning the grill, I still did not want to use it. I had to sweep the fire pit area due to screws and metal pieces around and in the pit. I would Not feel comfortable if I had some children with me! Once the outside is cleaned up and fixed, this would be a great vacation spot.

Weekend Getaway

The home and property overall was in a great location. The walk-in the door appearance was really cute, but the shower in the master bedroom had a good layer of mold in the door area that would separate and fall into the floor of the shower as you used the shower. The kitchen was clean other than below the sink, it smelled very much like musty, moldy wood. The rest of the house down stairs we did not use at all. The living room was set up really cute and the deck would have been nice if it had seats to sit on. There was a seat with no cushions up there, the grill could not be used as the racks were rusted on both the charcoal grill and the gas grill, so we couldn’t use those. The below deck was not to be used because it was not safe due to needing repaired. Signs were up to identify this though. I would come back here to stay because of the convenience but I would not advertise the comfy fire place with seating that wasn’t there. grill to cook on that was rusty, or charge so much for cleaning if the showers are still going to have mold clearly on the floor base, and the utensils you cook with sticky with cooking residue from prior use. I was just upset with the price for having to clean or improvise how to cook things since we brought food to cook on the grill. I brought my own toilet paper and paper towels to use primarily while we were there. Swept the floor with broom provided but there was no dust pan to sweep the stuff into so we folded a piece of cardboard to use.

For the most part it was very nice. The deck wasn't done, so we could not use it, there was no Propane for the gas grill, so we had to get our own and leave it there for the next renters. It really needed cleaned up on the outside. Grass not mowed, weeds everywhere could not use the firepit. Inside of the house was beautiful. When they get it all cleaned up and fixed up on the outside, it will be beautiful. Loved the location.

Perfect little get away!!

We loved the place. It was secluded, beautiful, and inviting. It had everything one could ask for. The only small complaint I would have would be about internet reception. At times, it was slow, but I do not blame that on the owners. The property is in fact kinda in the woods. Other than that, this was one of our perfect vacations. Would def want to stay here again if in the area. It was so peaceful. Supplies well stocked. Would definitely recommend!!!
