Newly built ski cottage is a 5 min walk along Whitetail Rd to the Stray Horse Trail to ski into the village. Walking to the Village takes about 10 min.

Only 40 minutes drive from Penticton at Apex Mountain Resort, a perfect spot to unwind after a day skiing or riding on the mountain, hiking, biking or whatever brings you to the Okanagan.

Relax in the loft and keep cozy with two wood fireplaces. High speed wi-fi means easy streaming for movies or a quiet place to work remotely. Come see what mountain life is all about!

Fabulous Ski Cottage. Great location and close to the hill. The house was really nicely decorated and fully stocked. All the beds and pillows were really comfortable. Loved the black out curtains. Lots of parking out front of the house and nice front deck that wrapped around to the hot tub in the back. We had a really great time at Apex!

We had a great stay. The place was clean and very homey. There was even a plug in for our car! We did have a time figuring out that the heat was wood and not electric! Woke up the first morning to a freezing cold house but figured it out quickly! Just a note for future guests to make that clear.

Everything about this property was as we expected. The home is beautiful and comfortable, the amenities were amazing and the host was great. We had a great time up at the mountain for the weekend and the rental offered a great place to unwind after our days on the slopes.

Great spot for a ski vacation. Lovely street with wonderful neighbours. Has all you need and the home is very well constructed. One little note - the downstairs is where the bedrooms are and the floors down there don’t have infloor heating. It’s not much of a bother - but do bring your slippers! You’ll be glad you did as I was!

We never saw or talked to the host. The home was prepared, clean and suited our needs. The following description in the VRBO add may be true in the summer, but otherwise misleading:"Newly built ski cottage is a 5 min walk along Whitetail Rd to the Stray Horse Trail to ski into the village. Walking to the Village takes about 10 min."Skiing into the Village or back to the Cottage was not a possibility without local knowledge. Walking to the Village took 15-25 min.Walking back took much longer as it is uphill most of the way. Reasonable access to the Village could only be made by driving to the parking lot at the base of the hill.I most likely will not book this accommodation in the future for the above reasons. Thanks....Herm

Wonderful Cabin

We had an enjoyable stay at this cottage. It is clean ,well equipped . The kitchenware is compete and many kinds of spices and necessary things for cooking are provided. The only thing that needs to be added to this wonderful cottage is a barbecue. The host is awesome. I recommend this cottage to everyone !

Great stay!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The house plus hot tub suited all our needs. Very easy check in and instructions. 4 adults and 4 children enjoyed the home and had plenty of space. Would definitely stay again!
