Everything was as described, absolutely no complaints. Beautiful sunrise and sunsets, pet friendly property. Kitchen is FULLY stocked. All the utensils, crockery, spices you will need. Has DW, coffee pot. stove etc. Had a great stay. Hiking activities all around, furries had fun.

Cleanliness could have been better. Mattress in primary bedroom was not good, ended up sleeping in bedroom with bunk bed. Could not use wood burning stove as there was no kindling provided and the logs provided weren’t split and too thick to start. That was a bummer. View was wonderful and peaceful. Saw a few eagles in the trees.

The view was beautiful! The cottage was a bit dated but nothing a fresh coat of paint and a few small updates wouldn’t fix. So we must have crazy clean expectations. The sinks, stove, microwave, inside of fridge were very clean, and the floor looked clean! But the counter wasn’t, the outside of the fridge was disgusting, and it looked like there had been a fly massacre on the kitchen walls. My sister and I got some Mr Clean sponges and did our thing! We had too or we wouldn’t have been able to sleep. Your cottage truly is a great place by the water but you need a better cleaning service,PS we cleaned the windows too to give a better shore view. But we stopped at the grill ( which was completely unusable.

This little piece of heaven on the lake was just what we needed for our fall get away...the sunsets were amazing!!! The cabin was clean and the view of the lake was absolutely beautiful!!! We definitely will be back!!!

Our first impression as we walked in the door was the amazing view of the bay! The cabinbwas decorated so cozy with a great lake cabin vibe. We loved the vintage cabinets and counters in the kitchen! The beds were comfortable and the bedding smelled fresh. The cabin was also exceptionally clean, something we always look for! We are looking forward to staying here again!

We were very happy with the location and view from the property. The inside was updated and nice, but the outside could use a little cleaning. There were a lot of bugs so it made it uncomfortable for us.

Beautiful view and comfortable lodging

We absolutely loved our stay in Sturgeon Bay! The home is oriented in such a way that the beautiful floor to ceiling windows at the rear of the house, with a breathtaking view of the lake, are visible from everywhere. There are many comfortable places to sit and relax inside. Outside is great too, with a BBQ grill and fire pit, both of which we used and a porch with chairs to watch the sunset. They have everything you could need to make your stay fun and relaxing. We would definitely go back!

We chose this property because of the lakeside view and fire pit, expecting to spend time outdoors on the deck or by the fire, but the bay fly swarms prevented that. If we had known just how bad the bugs would be, we may have changed our plans. Unfortunately we were unable to enjoy anything outside. The house was a lot older than the pictures showed, and could use some updating, even just fresh paint would help. There were cobwebs on the ceiling and covering the grill and outdoor furniture. Host communication was good, and beds were comfortable.

The property was right on the bay with spectacular sunsets and a great view. The house itself could use some updating, but all in all it was a good choice for a little getaway.

Perfect location. Beautiful views. Nicely appointed cottage.Nice, grass yard with shade trees. Indoor and outdoor furniture is very comfy. Huge tv in living rm. Love the tripple sliders that open to deck, back yard and waterfront. Rock wall with steps to the water, but a sand beach a couple blocks away. Nice, quiet neighborhood. We will be back!

Great dog friendly spot

Great property nicely situated about 20 min from town. We were able to bring our dogs, which we loved. They enjoyed full access to the water. Upon arrival, we noticed the house hadn’t been fully cleaned. After contacting the host, it was rectified immediately. The host even checked in on us later to make sure we were happy. Besides that, I will say we tried to use the oven and it wasn’t getting hot enough so we had to switch to just using a pan. Overall great dog friendly place to stay!

Lake cottage

We had a good time,great weather. The property details need updating. We had no idea that there were two beds in the basement until the septic alarm went off at 1:00 am and we had to go down there. We could have used more towels other than one per person for four days and only one hand towel. The cleaning lady could do a better job, it's not gross.But it could be cleaner. Nice location, beautiful view. Overall it was a nice place.

We've stayed at this location several times, and it's allway been great. It has a well stocked kitchen, big lakefront yard, and private lake access.

Great stay!

We enjoyed a short stay at this cabin. There was plenty of room for the five of us and the view was unparalleled. We liked that the cabin was just out of town, which added to its charm and sense of “getting away.” We loved the view and found that it was tranquil and quiet in the neighborhood. The host provided clear instructions and was easy to work with.

OK But Could Be Much More

The backyard and deck are wonderful, as is the great room area. The rest of the cottage is pretty shabby and was not adequately cleaned. The refrigerator was dirty and there was grease on the range, range hood, and backsplash. The shower was slippery. The size of the cottage is fine for two people but would be tight for more. A good scrubbing and investment in some updates would go a long way towards turning this property into the gem it has the potential to be.

Bravo!

We were simply looking for some much needed family time and we got so much more. We had no pressure and did as we pleased for three glorius days. We made memories, we enjoyed each others company and simply relaxed. I don't know the last time I just felt so peaceful. I thank you for that. I had the opportunity to just enjoy my family, to cook for them and just plain love them with no outside noise.

Beautiful property and amazing views of the bay

Very thankful we chose this cabin for a weekend birthday celebration instead of our usual campsite. Upon entering, you are immediately blown away by the stunning view of the bay. The cabin is so cozy and cute and unbelievably stocked with everything you could possibly need and more. Very easy check-in and check-out. All the rooms were so accommodating. Loved watching the pelicans and the waves. Highly recommend staying at this cabin!
