Great Bungalow feel a couple of streets over from the beach walk. Our family of four enjoyed this classic, well-decorated home in Tybee. A good vacation rental that was accessible to everything around the island. We rented bikes that were delivered right to the door, enjoyed the front yard hammock and not-so-crowded beach areas. Super cute house!

Near beach near perfect

A classic Tybee cottage with charming space indoors and out. Easy walk to the beach and right on the bike route. Plenty of space to gather as a group of get off by yourself.

First time staying in Tybee. Cottage is short walk to beach Nice quiet neighborhood. Great for 4 adults - 2 bedrooms - 2 bathrooms - even room for some kids !

Perfect private place

Loved staying in this little gem of a house. Clean! Curtly decorated, eclectic and charming. Close bike ride to everything on the island. Adorable side yard and outdoor space! Highly recommend!

Clean, close to beach

The “Green Cottage” was perfect for our family group and we enjoyed our stay but we couldn’t spend time in the charming outdoor spaces because the mosquitoes drove us back inside from morning until night. We would stay again if there was a screened porch.

First visit to Tybee

Great place to stay for a family or just a couple if you want a quiet place and spend little time in the backyard. Just 4 min walk to beach. Spent some money to support local artists. Only if you need special groceries bring with you from Savannah. House can easily accomidate 6 people and has everything. Great month to come to avoid humidity.

Perfect

This cottage is so great. Adorably decorated and super clean. Lots of places to spread out - 2 decks surrounded by lots of trees. Birds everywhere. Everything we needed for cooking/eating, laundry, beach. 4 minute walk to beach. Quiet street. Would definitely return.

This is the best Chill Pill getaway!

The place is perfect, Lots of privacy, exquisite beach location. Grocery 3 blocks away. Entertainment and restaurant's 1/2 mile. House fully equipped and ready. Could not ask for a better stay - fully intend to return. Greg

We will be back!

I fell in love with the cottage. Everything you could want except a crockpot was there. Blender, toaster, grill, and all dishes needed. The aesthetic was adorable!! Check in and out process was perfect and smooth! Could walk to everything!! 15 minute walk to the beach. Restaurants and stores(including a grocery store )within a mile. I loved the place so much, that I am now a snob and will base my vacations around this little house.

A great stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the bungalow. The location is perfect. It is quiet and close to the beach. The house is well maintained, the bedrooms are small but cozy. There were a few stains on the bed comforters (possibly from kid spills in the past). I would recommend replacing/updating these, but overall it felt clean. The larger beds were comfortable but the 2 twins were similar to pull out couch mattresses and were not as comfy. The outside is very cute and comfortable. We appreciated being able to bring our dog. We would definitely return. Thanks for a great experience.

Quiet Preseason Visit

We like Tybee Island. This was our second visit and while the locals kept apologizing for "low" temperatures in the mid-50s to low-60s we found them very comfortable We enjoyed several local restaurants, Bubba Gumbo's in particular. The property we rented was very clean and comfortable. We travel with our 11-year-old Bassett Hound and found this rental to be particularly dog-friendly with a partially-fenced yard. The town, however, is not very welcoming to pets. Every other spot we've visit on the shore from Maine to Southern Florida makes accommodations by allowing dogs on-leash to walk the beaches either preseason or during certain days and/or hours. Tybee might want to look at the Bark Beach policy in Boca/Del Ray, FL. Also, carry a role of quarters if you want to eat along Butler (the main street) or do some souvenir shopping at a store that does not have its own parking lot. We watched a parking enforcement officer handing out tickets at 10 a.m. on a Friday when there were only three cars visible on the entire street. At $4/hour with a two-hour minimum if you use a card, it's a bit expensive. In summary, the property we rented was very nice and we found some great restaurants but town policies seem to be geared more toward controlling Spring-breakers than encouraging retirees looking for quiet, slow season spots to spend their cash. Five stars for the rental property and restaurants. Three stars for the town.

Cute little beach house with lots of charm

My 3 daughters and our 2 pups visited for spring break and had a great time. The house is very charming and super cute! Our dogs took full advantage of the doggie door and the fenced in yard was a huge plus. There is a little iron gate leading to the front yard that has a bit of a gap on the bottom so if you have an escape artist be cautious. But we enjoyed the backyard. The location is right on the bike path which was great for our daily dog walks and right in between north and south beach. We were a quick 2 block walking distance from the beach and couldn’t have picked a better spot!
