Great Stay!

Comfortable home-good amenities. Walking distance to beach and some fun resturants was a plus! Pool was lovely and always a great temperature. Will be staying again!

Location is great and very walkable to the beach. Property management group is very good at communicating. But the property needs a lot of updating! If you are expecting a beautiful new home build this is not your place. If you just want close to the beach and walkable to stores, this place will work.

Convenient stay on Marco

Our family had a nice time at this house. It was great for our needs - pool and lanai, close to the beach and restaurants and big enough to accommodate us. All of which is hard to fine on Marco.

Convenient Location and Cozy Quarters

The location of this home was paramount. We loved the easy walk to the beach as well as the plentiful shops and restaurants at Marco Walk Plaza. The screened-in and heated pool was a hit as well. The kitchen as well-equipped for our needs and served is well. Included beach chairs and a cart are appreciated. All of this at a reasonable price make for a wonderful vacation.

This was a perfect property for our stay.

We had 6 adults with somewhat independent schedules-some went to beach, some used pool, some cooked at house, some went out to eat. House was conveniently located and walking distance to beaches/restaurants/stores. Very clean, great amenities.

Overall for the price it was a great property. I would however remove the pool table and the other game table. They were both broke and a disappointment to the teenagers. Great location and walking distance to restaurants and beach.

Excellent location - you really can walk to beach. Property has loads of rooms. Pool is great. Place was very clean, good comms from management company. The place just needs some overall upgrading and TLC. Nothing was bad or broken - just old and very much 2nd tier. The sheets and towels were very low quality - beds were comfy though. Overall I think it’s expensive for the quality - BUT the location and amount of space may make up for it for you.

AC not working, outdated properly, spider webs…

AC never cooled below 83 and it was as high as 87. Thermostat photos were provided to property manager… house is very outdated and needs renovation, pest control visit is necessary- too many spiders…pool needs to be cleaned, next door neighbor house under construction…at arrival we were not able to park in driveway due to tree service men still cutting a tree… they have left huge log on the property…location is excellent-everything else is absolutely below expectations

Home was great location for getting to beach. Having the wagon and chairs worked very well. Home could use some updates. Paint walls . Overall lots of room for 6 people. We enjoyed it.

Fixer Upper in great location

All good, not great. Construction next door with noise beginning at 6:50am. So much for the strictly-enforced quiet hours before 8am. Nice pool and Lanai. Awesome location near public beach access.

Close to the beach

Great family vacation. House has beach wagon and is a short walk to the public beach access. Bedrooms are roomy. There are really 4 bedrooms if you count the office with a twin bed. Pool is shaded by trees ( not a place to sunbathe) but a good size. Kitchen is dated but who cares? You do need to be able to climb stairs as the master is up a spiral staircase. We would recommend this place highly!

Excellent location

The house is as described in reviews. The pool heat was tepid even at the end of the week. The kitchen was well stocked. The location is excellent and there are sidewalks everywhere.

This is a very nice property that was very comfortable for myself and my family. I wasn’t sure what to expect with the hurricane being a week and a half before our arrival but Chelsea took care of everything since our original home was unavailable. There was some communication errors with the pool being out of service for a few days but it was fixed and Horizon Rentals made it right with us. I would love to vacation here again!

Spider mecca of Marco

We were absolutely disappointed with this rental. It is like they furnished the place with garage sale furniture. The outdoor wicker furniture needs to be thrown away instead of just throwing a piece of mismatched foam on it to sit on. And be careful when you go out to the pool because there are hundreds of spiders all of the pool enclosure, you'd think if you were renting out a property that you would get exterminators out there to solve this problem. I would not rent this place if you are considering it!

Java Court short stay

The property needs maintenance and better cleaning and preparation. Instructions on the thermostat location (upstairs outside MBR) should be part of the welcome package. Floors throughout were sticky and dirty. Needed lamps and all the furniture was dirty looking. Property management can do better. Nice neighborhood location.

Location! Location! Location! Clean House!

This house meets all your beach needs. I’m going to give an honest review. The house is close to beach. 10 minute walk from door to water for me. The house is clean and fully stocked. People have left some beach and pool toys. I was a little nervous after reading a few reviews but my sister lives in Naples and we visit a couple times a year so we know the area and prices. We have older teens 17/18 the pool table has seen better days but if you have kids under 13 it’s perfect! The “game room” was still a great hang out spot. The pool area is huge great for families and cookouts. Again everything was clean everyone was more then comfortable. We walked everywhere and barley drove all week.

Great location close to beach, restaurants, and bars

This home is in a great location. It’s about a 4 block, 5 minute walk to beach. The pool was nice and was a fantastic way to finish a walk from the beach or restaurants. House is over 30 years old, and it really hasn’t really been updated. The kitchen is old, small, and cramped, and the refrigerator has broken shelving and is extremely noisy. The Beds were very comfortable and having king beds in two bedrooms was great. There is a washer and dryer, and 3 full baths. Overall, this is a vacation beach house, the rental price was OK for what it is. This home was more than adequate for the 4 of us for our week long stay. I’d consider staying in this home again. A huge plus is that the management company is extremely easy to work with.

Location of house was great

Heated pool, very close walking distance to ocean, mini golf, strip w all restaurants. Great vacations. Booking agency was awesome as well.

Great family vacation spot

We loved our stay at this property. In Marco, there are only a few public access points to the beach; this property is about 4 or 5 blocks from the southern beach access. My mom who is recovering from cancer was able to easily make the walk. The house was more spacious than I imagined it would be. The pool was also a wonderful retreat & enjoyed very much! The listing said only one roll of toilet paper provided but there were at least 1-2 rolls in each of the three bathrooms, so this was a pleasant surprise. I do suggest they add enough hand towels & wash cloths for every bathroom; there were no washcloths and only one hand towel for use in the bathrooms, but that might have been because they allowed me to check-in early (with no extra charge) and possibly replenishing the towel supply was overlooked in the hurry for early check-in. I checked in on a Saturday when the office was closed and I did not bother to reach out to them on a weekend; I assume if I had made them aware, they would have brought more. There was one wash cloth in the kitchen and several kitchen towels. The bath towels were wonderfully large and of superior quality and enough supply to shower and still have beach towels. The beach cart was much appreciated but the wheel came off so I had to take it to the Ace Hardware a couple of miles away for repair but that was just a $2 fix and some time. The beach umbrella was broken but I bought a new one and gifted it to the house for future guest use. There were also several beach chairs of varied heights which were helpful. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the bedding quality was very nice!! The screened in family space below the house in what is normally a garage near the pool area was also very enjoyable; it gave a great space to spend the rainy day with the family in the fresh air.
