Everything was excellent. The cottage was immaculate and beautifully furnished, the added touch of a continental breakfast basket (gorgeous bread thank you) a lovely gesture and we hope to make a return visit in the future. Parking at the door made packing and unpacking so easy as well. We couldn’t recommend The Cwtch more highly. Thank you so much for having us

Beautiful little cabin, very clean and well cared for. Great parking as we had a camper trail with us. Our host both where very welcoming, a lovely couple that showed us around their property and only to willing to help in anyway. Would recommend The Cwtech to anyone that wants a beautiful relaxing place to stay.

Loved the property and our stay. The owner has really considered each piece of decor to make the place feel incredibly homely and comfortable. It is incredibly clean, it would be the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed in. We loved our time away and highly recommend this property.

Just Perfect

My husband & I had such a lovely time! It’s a really great, little cabin and the owners have gone to so much trouble to provide everything that you could possibly need. The bread that was provided for breakfast was superb! The space was small, cosy yet uncluttered . No TV was perfect.

The room itself was very clean and tidy, with ample amenities available. My partner and I booked the property as we thought it would be a romantic, private getaway, however it seemed that the tiny house was a lot closer to the main house than advertised. It was less than 50 metres from the main house and did not feel private at all. This is something I think should be included in photos and description, as we were under the assumption it was totally private. The house was also incredibly small, which would have been totally okay if it were in the private picturesque location we were expecting. I think for this reason the price is a little high for the house. Other than that, the house was great. The breakfast basket had oats, cereal, spreads and a freshly baked loaf of bread that was lovely. The host was very communicative which was great and put us at ease. All in all, it was a lovely place just not as advertised.

Thank you for your message letting me know that you and your partner had a magnificent stay and enjoyed the special touches, including the breakfast basket and amenities. It was lovely to hear that you noticed the care that goes into creating a welcoming space. You also asked about exploring the property, which I was delighted to invite you to do. Thank you as well for taking the time to share your public review. I’m so pleased you found The Cwtch clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and that you enjoyed the breakfast basket, local brochures, and our communication throughout your stay. I’m sorry to hear the setting didn’t feel as private as you had hoped. The Cwtch is a self-contained cabin located on our property, designed to provide guests with a peaceful retreat while still being within a short distance of the main house for safety and convenience. We’re very mindful of our guests’ privacy and do our best to ensure everyone feels relaxed and undisturbed during their stay. I always aim for the photos and description to reflect the layout and setting accurately, but I appreciate your feedback and will review them again to ensure they’re as clear as possible for future guests. For travellers who value a particular level of seclusion, I always encourage reaching out before booking — I’m more than happy to provide extra details to make sure The Cwtch is the right fit. Thank you again for staying at The Cwtch @ Little Hartley. I’m so glad you enjoyed many aspects of your visit, and I wish you both all the very best in your future travels. Warm regards,
Clare
