Cozy Cabin in the Rocky Mountains of Nordegg, Alberta

We opened Nature's Getaway Nordegg in November 2021! A peaceful getaway with all the comforts of home, and some special touches that let you appreciate nature to the fullest. Snuggle up with a book near the fireplace or sit out on the deck with nothing but the sounds of nature all around you, or explore and have an outdoor adventure! This tranquil cabin will remind you of what is really important in life and allow you to reconnect. Comfort, peace and relaxation are the hallmarks of this cabin!
There is also a second cabin, The Quiet Deer Cabin available at Nature's Getaway, as well. Perfect for a larger family getaway!

Quiet time is from 11pm- 8am. This is a drug free property inside and out. No smoking on the property or in the cabin. No parties.
No pet policy. Please let us know the names of guests that will be staying The max for this cabin is 6 adults (8 people in total, including kids)
Please supervise kids on the property. We are in nature- there are wild animals around and also some guidelines for the cookhouse . Be bear aware.

Great stay. The property is beautiful. Trails right behind the rental. Tanya was an amazing host. Brought us a speaker when we all forgot one. Would recommend.

Wonderful weekend getaway

My family haf a wonderful Easter weekend at the property. Check in was amazing, property was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Loved the quick communication back from the property owners. Looking forward to our next trip out!

Great Trail Riding weekend!

We truly enjoyed the weekend here. It was very peaceful, the cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The trails were very close by, we could take the ATV’s right from the house to the trails when we wanted. Another highlight was the outdoor kitchen and fire pit. We would definitely recommend this place!

Extended family getaway

My parents, my brother and his wife and my family of 4 stayed in this lovely cabin. Beautiful space to relax and visit both inside and out. Many fun lawn games to play, beautiful cool house. Close to so many beautiful hikes.

Amazing stay!

We went to the cozy bear cabin for a weekend getaway with friends for my husbands 40th birthday. It was a great time! Tanya was so accommodating! Very clean, comfortable and the property is beautiful! Would recommend.

Oasis in the mountains

Our group of four had a lovely stay in this perfect setting, forest all around us, sunshine through the trees and all the comforts of home in our spacious cabin. Not a detail was missed and the kitchen had everything. The large deck included a deck fire pit table, large hot tub, barbecue and many seating options. A perfect get-away!

Calm and relaxing weekend

The cabin was clean and well prepared for our arrival. Lots of nice old school entertainment inside which we enjoyed all weekend. Nice hiking trail right out of the backyard . Highly recommended! The perfect gateway!

Cozy Cabin

Overall this cabin and property is pretty spectacular. I’d highly recommend to anyone who enjoys the outdoors. The common area behind the cabins is huge and there is a trail back to Shanda Creek. Everything was there and more hot tub, bbq, outdoor propane and wood fireplaces, horse shoes. Hosts were easy to communicate with. Check in at this property is 4pm.

Amazing property and host

I booked my staff in the Cozy Bear cabin for two nights. I had also scheduled Tanya to facilitate a couple team building workshops for us. We had a very impactful, bonding experience with her and each other. She is an amazing person who cares about her property and how she develops and delivers her workshops. I would book there again in a heartbeat.

Perfect Stay!

This property is stunning. We thoroughly enjoyed all of the perks of the property (hot tub, cook house, firepit, surrounding land) as well as some lovely day trips, but always enjoyed coming back "home". Pride in ownership is evident. Tanya and Jerry went above and beyond, exceeding our expectations of a host. This little piece of paradise left us grounded, relaxed, and rejuvenated. We will cherish the memories made here and hope to return again some day. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone traveling to the Nordegg area - it will not disappoint!

Cozy Winter Retreat

Our group had a wonderful stay at the Cozy Bear Cabin! We went the weekend before Christmas and we were delighted to arrive to a decorated tree and fresh cookies. The cabin was clean, cozy and well stocked. The beds were comfy and there were plenty of fresh towels. The hot tub was a hit with the kids and adults in our group. There was a nature trail right out the back door and the cabin is a 20 minute drive to Crescent Falls or Abraham Lake. Tanya and Jerry were a pleasure to deal with and think of all the little details to make a stay great. Everyone in our group is already planning our return trip.

I am fortunate to be doing life with my best friend and life partner Jerry, in Nordegg! I am also a mom to 4 incredible young adults and 2 adorable Labradoodles, Bentley and Boomer! :)
To share the love of the outdoors and the value getting out into nature can bring into people’s lives, we started Nature's Getaway Nordegg! We love being active in the outdoors, giving back to the people and things that mean the most, and trying to live life to the fullest!
Along with this new venture of starting an outdoor experience vacation rental, my purpose is to help leaders show up to be their best! So, when not focusing on this I can be found doing some incredible leadership mentoring & consulting!

The cabins are set up beautifully and perfect for a great getaway in nature! Nature's Getaway Nordegg as 2- 3 bedroom cabins for rent. The Cozy Bear and the Quiet Deer Cabin's.

The Cook House is a very unique feature of this property. An incredible place to spend the evening, cooking on the woodstove and having fun!
