Cozy lakeside cabin 30 minutes from Waterton National Park

Our bungalow style cabin has 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed, a bathroom with a double shower, a large open concept kitchen/living room and a natural gas fireplace.

It is located on a 13 acre pond beside The Great Canadian Barn Dance, which is 1 hour from Lethbridge and 30 minutes from Fort Macleod, Pincher Creek, and Waterton Lake National Park.

Non motorized water sports are allowed on the lake, so you can bring a canoe, kayak, paddle board, etc. It is also great for skating/pond hockey in the winter. Swimming is not recommended. 5 minutes down the road is Cochrane Lake which is ideal for fishing. 10 minutes down the road is Waterton Reservoir which has a beach for swimming. There are plenty of hiking trails within a 30 minute drive.

The lake is shared with The Great Canadian Barn Dance which at one point hosted music camps, water sports camps, and other events throughout the summer. (Currently closed since Covid - unsure if it will reopen)

This property is pet friendly EXCEPT for cats as our family is allergic.

Property was nice, easy to find and good place to go "home" to after a day of exploring. Few things they could improve on for their guests but overall it was good for us.

Lakeside cabin by Hill Spring

Very comfortable cabin in a very quiet area. Was the perfect place to come and unwind after a day at Waterton. Make sure to check out the Ranch House in Hill Spring, great price for great food.

Great cabin near Waterton Lakes NP

We had a great time at this charming cabin! Would recommend highly to anyone. The cabin itself is very nice and well equipped, and the views of the rockies are beautiful. It is very close to Waterton Lakes National Park and also to Glacier NP in Montana. Great place to stay at to visit the parks!

Great cabin

The cabin was perfect for exploring waterton lakes (30 mins) and glacier (1.25 hours to many glacier) national parks. It was well-stocked, beds were comfy, and it’s right on the pond. We enjoyed sitting on the deck for dinner, drinks, and games in the evenings.

Comfortable, Quiet, Clise to Waterton Lakes

We had a great stay at this clean, spacious, well furnished cabin situated a lovelr drive to/from Waterton. Sunsets over the Rockies and the farmlands are beautiful and the night sky is breath-taking.

Awsome stay

This was a lovely little cabin about 1h away from waterton town. Needed some planning for gas and groceries as this cabin is 30 minutes from a town with those commodities. Overall we had a really nice stay!
