JB's - Ocean, Bush, Pets, Expansive Living, Decks, Air-Con

Originally built in 1988 and one of the first houses in the Myola Village. From 2019 to 2021 extensive renovations transformed JB’S to its modern large 4-bedroom family home. Listen to the beach behind the house or walk across the road to the Myola Reserve on Currumbene Creek and relax with your favourite beverage. Or walk down the street where you can catch the Ferry over to Husky (subject to timings)
JB’S offers open plan living, 6 smart TV’S for movies or sports. Relax on the deck next to the outside fireplace and enjoy the sounds of the beach or press the blinds down to enclose the deck and kick back in front of big TV.
JB’S offers multiple lounge spaces, sumptuous bedding, deck areas and outdoor alfresco areas, Fire pit, large lawn area and relaxing gardens. You may see Frank the possum down for a feed or have the local birds use the bird bath out the front or just have a drink.
The space
The property has ducted and split cycle air-con, 2 bedrooms upstairs - one being a loft bedroom and the other a queen size bedroom with views of JB National Park.
Downstairs a further 2 queen bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Enjoy a wine whilst relaxing in the bath with the stars above. Yes, JB’S has 7 x skylights that offer you the choice of open skies or you simply press the button, and the blinds will close across the skylights.
Enjoy outdoor dining under the pergola with 2 door bar fridge, Pizza Oven, BBQ or JB’S stainless steel BBQ smoker. Inside there is a fully appointed Bellini kitchen, coffee machine, dishwasher and more. From the dining room open the stackable doors onto the large deck to a further undercover table setting for 8 persons.
There’s a beach cupboard with bats, balls and towels for you and your fur babies and a well-appointed fisher and Paykel front load washer and dryer.
After a day out on the beach come home to a nice hot shower in the Bali Garden. Your fur babies, if you have them are catered for with a separate hot and cold wash down area next to the front outside shower and their bedding, toys, and treats also catered for in the laundry area.
Guest access
Long driveway with ample space for cars and a boat. The area is best on bikes or walking. Free NBN Wi-Fi included.
Other things to note
You can ring Club Callala and pre book the courtesy bus that will pick you up from the front of the house and bring you back. Play a round of golf, bowls and enjoy a night out at the club.

The house was as described with everything you would need for your stay. It is walking distance to the beach & the river.We had our dogs with us and this house was perfect for them. The yard being fully fenced & the laundry area was a great space for them to sleep.

Amazing Holiday Stay

This house has everything a family (including doggo) needs when on holidays. We loved every part of the house from the super comfy couch to the relaxing outdoor seating with TV. Will be going again and highly recommend

Amazing location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at JB's. The property is clean and has everything you could ask for and only a short walk to the beautiful Callala Beach. Hope to come back!

Beautiful location

We thoroughly enjoyed the alfresco fire place we thought we would have a hot weekend to swim in the gorgeous callala beach but fireplace kept up company. Loved the nature walks to the bay and beach breathtaking

Well kept secret!

We throughly enjoyed our stay the property was gorgeous! Very very comfortable, clean and peaceful. It really is such a great location and full of bird life, Pete the possum, black rabbits- our doggies lived the garden to play & run in. We will be back again!

Loved It!

We loved our time here. Great house in a very peaceful area. Close to the beach, also has a beach area which was excellent for us beginner kayakers! We are very grateful that the owners are welcoming of dogs which made our holiday even more enjoyable as we love having our fur babies with us. Thank you.!

Beautiful stay at JB’s! The property is very well set up and super clean. Lots of great areas to spread out in - which was great with a teen family of 5. Even the rainy days were fun playing monopoly in front of the fire! Thanks for a great break!

Perfect Escape

Great location, bush beach feel but close enough to shops to get terrific takeaways. Beautiful walk to beach. The property was flawless, so clean and every tiny detail has been thought of by the owners to make it feel like a home away from home. Our dog seems depressed to have left

We loved it!

What an amazing house. We had unfortunate weather for the first few days, but the house was so well set up to manage everyone’s needs, with tvs in every room, a great kitchen, and a beautiful fireplace in a covered patio area, with the most ample supply of wood I’ve ever seen! And then when the sun came out, it was just a 5 minute walk to the beach! We’ll be back, for sure!!

Tranquil oasis

We stayed for 10 days and it was wonderful and would love to have been there longer. The home and gardens are beautiful, so clean and comfortable. There were so many thoughtful touches. We loved the dog washing area, so many breakout areas, comfy beds, lounges, wonderful air con and fans, loved sky lights, especially above bath and shower and family the big screen TVs. We loved everything about the place and would recommend. Hosts were lovely and thoughtful. Perfect peaceful location and so handy to beach and river. Thanks so much.

Wonderful stay

We had a lovely time at JBS in Myola. The house was spacious and had every amenity you could need! Well appointed kitchen, living, dining and bathrooms. Large back yard for our fur babies who were well catered for with dog toys, beds, towels, bowls and more. All we needed to bring was their food! The location is perfect, a 7 min walk to beautiful Callala beach, the ferry to Husky is close by and there are many little river spots to explore and lots of wildlife to see. The host was also very helpful with information about the things we can see and do during our stay. Would definitely come back!

Australian beach house perfection

Wow this is a special place. Perfect location with everything you need in this home to be very comfortable. Outdoor kitchen saw plenty of nights on the BBQ and the pizza oven got a great workout. Our dog loved the property too with so many great walks and beach dog friendly. Super comfortable beds for everyone. A well thought out property design inside and out making everything easy right down to the set up of lighting, fans, air con, screen/blind automation and entertainment . The outdoor fridge was icy cold ready to stock and thank you also for the lovely bottle of red wine on arrival. Could have easily stayed another few weeks!

Amazing property

We couldn't fault the property, really clean and all the modern comforts you could ask for, in a great quite location - a few minutes walk to Husskison ferry and Cullala beach. It rained non stop when we were there, but we had our own little world at the house. Lots of verandah areas and space so you never felt closed in, great cooking facilities with pizza oven, smoker, BBQ - and multiple Tvs in every area. Our dogs loved it, and didn't care too much about being outside as there was plenty of cover. The host could not have been any more accommodating. If I had any feedback, maybe a full length mirror somewhere - but that is just being picky. I can see this was a secret suburb people were lucky enough to buy into early, and it's amazing this beautiful home is available for people to experience. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

We stayed for three nights but wished we had stayed a week!

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. We loved everything about the house. It was gorgeous! And it was a short walk to the beach. The bedrooms were very comfortable and well presented. The kitchen was well stocked and living areas just perfect to hang out in. The outdoor areas were fantastic too. The dogs loved the backyard and being big dogs, they were well fenced in which we were very happy about. The charcoal bbq got a good work out and we wish we had stayed longer so we could try out the pizza oven! There were multiple TV’s which meant no-one missed out on watching whatever they wanted. Even the neighbours were great. Can’t wait to come back.

It’s got everything!

Had a wonderful stay. Incredibly well designed home, they’ve thought of everything and the house is very well set up. Loved the location between beach and inlet with the ferry and rope swing short walk away. Loved the outdoor area with bbq, pizza oven and huge outdoor tv to watch the tennis. We will be back!

Beautiful house and garden in a great location that is close to the beach. The house has everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again.

The property has ducted air-con, two bedrooms located in the 2nd level - one being a loft bedroom and the other being a queen size bedroom.
Downstairs you will find two further bedrooms. Two bathrooms.
Expansive deck areas with TV access inside and on the deck area.
Large kitchen.
Internal laundry.
Pet dedicated spaces and even a hot and cold wash station in the yard.
