Commodore's Cove offers the best of Key West: a prime location and all the amenities of a home. Up to 12 can stay at this welcoming first floor condo, so bring the whole family along! Located on Simonton Street, just one block from the heart of downtown Duval St.



The Space:

Commodore's Cove offers 4 bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom and a large flat-screen TV. Accommodating up to 12 guests, the home includes 2 king beds, 1 queen bed, 2 twin beds, and 2 queen sofa beds. The fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances makes it easy to prepare home-cooked meals. Enjoy complimentary WiFi and use the private stackable washer/dryer for added convenience.



Guest Access:

Our contactless check-in procedure makes check-in easy. Guest will receive a personalized access code prior to arrival.



The Neighborhood:

Conveniently located between Downtown and the Historic Seaport, Commodore's offers easy access to Key West's top attractions. Watch the sunset at Mallory Square, enjoy a day out at the sandbar with Brightwild Adventures, or explore Key West history at the Shipwreck and Mel Fisher Maritime Museums.



Just one short block from Duval Street, you’re steps away from the best bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and attractions. Local favorites like First Flight, Bagatelle, and Two Friends Patio are less than a five-minute walk. Satisfy your sweet tooth with Kermit's Key Lime Pie in the Historic Seaport or enjoy homemade fudge from River Street Sweets.



Need something in a hurry? Shorty’s Market is nearby for your last-minute necessities, and Fausto’s Food Market, just two blocks away, offers locally sourced groceries.



Getting Around:

Parking Information: There is one private parking space on the side of the home in the driveway located on Dey Street. Please note this is for compact vehicles and Dey Street is a one way.



There are a variety of great ways to explore Key West including by bicycle, pedi-cab, scooter, golf cart, Uber, Taxi, or by feet. As this unit is located in downtown Key West, many attractions are within walking distance. Feel free to ask us for recommendations!



Other Things to Note:

- This unit is located on the bottom floor of a 3-story vacation rental. For larger groups - this property can be rented along with upstairs as Commodore's Compound! Reach out to us for more information.



- This unit is pet friendly. Our requirements are as follows:

•$25/per night

The location was definitely the best part of this vacation rental. The space was perfect for our group of four couples. Having a bathroom for every bedroom came in very handy. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars was slow communication from the property management team. I would stay here again.

Great Place

The hosts were friendly and accommodating. The location is just steps away from restaurants and many Key West landmarks. The place was a lot larger than expected and housed 10 very easily. Looking forward to booking again in the future!

Wedding weekend

The location of this spot is perfect, right in the middle of all the action anyone in key west would want to be. Tons of space to sleep, and there is basically a bathroom for each room which is fantastic. Some parts of the property itself is are a little run down, but that doesn’t really matter when you’re staying in paradise. The manager was very nice, and helped us check in a little early. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Great location

The property was nice and as described. There were ample towels which was nice. A few small things to note: The ice maker in the kitchen did not work. The bed in the room with the sliding glass door had broken springs - very uncomfortable. House mentions sleeping for 12 however we found it near impossible to unfold hide a bed couches due to a post in center of Livingroom. There also were only 2 light blankets for these so another blanket would be nice. Kitchen had adequate dishes but was surprised that there were not some basic spices and other kitchen items that I have found most VRRBO homes provide. Overall nice unit though and I would stay again if in arrea.

Not good for a long stay.

First the positives— Location was excellent for those wanting to be close to Historic Duval Street and the wharf. House was very clean except for ants and ant traps in kitchen. Air conditioning worked great! A bathroom in each bedroom is nice. The house appears to have been recently remodeled and looks nice. Towels and linens were clean and stain free. Negatives— The back of one of the sofas is broken and so with 6 people there, seating space was limited. We could only get one tv to work (one out of 5) and couldn’t find the washer and dryer. When we called the management company their only reply was that they would let the owners know. They offered no help at all. Finally found the washer and dryer outside in the back in a patio area used by the upstairs guests. Awkward crashing their party to do a load of laundry after a day of fishing. Kitchen had silverware, a few utensils and barely any pots and pans. No appliances—not even a handheld can opener—except for a coffee maker. There were ZERO dishcloths or dish towels. We stayed 4 nights and were hoping to fix a handful of meals while we were there but between the ants (couldn’t put any food on the counter at all) and the lack of kitchen supplies we were unable to. Walls are paper thin in bedrooms. Water is barely hot enough for a good shower.

The old town houses of Key West gives the island it's unique charm, but island living does come at a cost (such as a limited supply of hot water!). Thank you for your review.
