Locarno Cottage at Hepburn Mineral Springs Reserve

Locarno is a spacious one-bedroom cottage with stunning views over the surrounding forests of Hepburn Mineral Springs Reserve. Situated in the most desirable part of Hepburn Springs, the cottage provides a relaxing and peaceful getaway. The kitchen contains all the essentials if you want to prepare your own meals, but the Daylesford/Hepburn Springs area has a well-deserved reputation for outstanding cafes and restaurants.

The cottage has two split-system air conditioning units and a woodburning heater with about 15kg of firewood supplied. There is free WiFi and the large smart TV has the Netflix and Stan streaming services included.

The landscaped gardens offer a choice of four outdoor seating areas: the north-facing front garden has a deck just off the bedroom as well as a bench seat at the far end; the rear deck has a gas barbecue, dining table and large cantilever umbrella; and the lower deck on the west side is perfect for enjoying the sunset while seated around the chiminea.

The Hepburn Bathhouse & Spa complex in the neighbouring Hepburn Mineral Springs Reserve is a short walk down the road and offers a range of hot mineral water bathing and pampering spa treatments. There are also very many day spas within walking distance in Hepburn Springs village or a short drive to the neighbouring town of Daylesford.

Pets are very welcome at Locarno Cottage, including inside the cottage. We ask that dogs do not go on the sofa or bed; if you don't think you'll be able to prevent that, please bring along your own throws/blankets to protect our furnishings. The secure garden has fencing and gates that are at least 97 cm high.
