For many years Awakino has lacked in cellphone reception HOWEVER, now the small coastal town has full reception for Vodafone, Spark mobile and 2 degrees, Come and enjoy a family holiday at the beach or have a crack at some Whitebaiting, This Bach offers relaxation

Nice to stay spacious and handy location . We tried 3sisters rock bit hard to access as need to walk muddy place all the way.Might be back again next time.

Loved our stay at Awakino. Jenny was a fantastic host, very easy to communicate with. The house felt like a home away from hone. Clean, tidy, comfortable and spacious. Perfect for families.

Lovely spacious house, had everything we needed, good kitchen, lovely comfortable beds. Loved the cosy fireplace. Jenny was lovely, met her at the pub that she recommended.

This is a very spacious house with a lovely fire and perfect location for us. This is our second stay here and we will be back for more. I stayed here with my Sisters and it was a great location having 1 travel from Tauranga, 1 from Auckland and 1 from Taranaki. The beds are comfortable and communication with Jenny was great.

Very clean and well appointed house . Left a vase of fresh cut flowers. Great communication with owner. My partner left her shoes behind and Jenny dropped them off at my place when she came into town :)

Great batch.. perfect for a stop over while traveling South with the family. Everything was there for a comfy stay and great location to the Awakino pub for a nice meal.Will definitely stay again on next trip down the coast.Thanks Jenny

Wonderful stay
