Great getaway spot

Enjoyed being in the country but still very convenient to everywhere we planned to go. Great property, clean and comfortable. Enjoyed seeing the horses and other animals.

Great property

This is a very clean property with nice accommodations. The location fit the needs of our family very well! Check in and out was very easy. We enjoyed the quiet peaceful setting. Would definitely recommend.

Highly Recommend

The house was very clean and welcoming, spacious and comfortable. Very nice to come back to a nice home and relax after a long day rather than feeling cooped up in a hotel room. It was close and easily accessible to shops and restaurants in Lancaster. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

We had a fantastic time! The house was great and the host family was close but quiet. We especially enjoyed the visits from their adorable dog. We aldo liked watching the eagles and the babies. Thanks for a great time.

Very nice. Convenient to everything. Could just have used some nicer kitchen supplies as far a decent pan or 2 for making breakfast. Overall fine.

How are you enjoyed our stay the house is very clean but we cannot use the upstairs bathroom or sink because they were too wobbly and unsafe and we have no microwave Or TV to used But other than that very nice place and very clean

Beautiful Location

This Amish-owned property is ideally surrounded by beautiful farmland. And it's super clean. The floor is so squeaky clean that you can walk on it barefooted. The only thing that worth noting is that the internet is non-existent. And there's no TV. However, it's ideal for someone who is trying to get away from modern convenience.

Beautiful Scenery & Convenient Location

We had a wonderful time making this house our home base for an event we were attending in downtown Lancaster. The drive to the city was about 20 minutes. The setting is beautiful. We loved the animals on the property and seeing a Bald Eagle. We walked to the local bakery which is less than a mile away and explored the surrounding area. The house is quite spacious and accommodated 6 of us comfortably. The hot tub was loved by our oldest son. Having two full bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs, was convenient. The air conditioners worked well during some of the hottest days of the summer. Thank you!

SLICE OF PARADISE

The property was beautiful, peaceful, and super comfy. There was a coffee pot and a keurig (coffee pods and coffee included), plenty of towels, and lots of blankets. It truly felt like a home away from home. Although its a duplex, we did not hear or see anyone on the other side. The hot tub was especially nice on a snowy morning. They could use a few new pillows. They were a little flat but that was a very minor issue. Full set of pots and pans, plenty of utensils and plates. We actually tried booking again in the future while at the property. Our dates were blacked out though. We bought a cocount cake from the Bird In Hand bakery for my aunt'sbirthday. It was moist and delicious and ready 10 minutes after we ordered it. Great place to stay!

Perfect place for family

This house was simply perfect! It was immaculate, in such a quiet and perfect setting, and had the perfect layout for kids to run around and play. Plenty of fluffy soft towels and snuggly blankets and located near everything you would want to do. We loved our stay!

In the Heart Amish Country

We loved having the opportunity to stay in a dawdi house. It was so nice to have this experience. It was comfortable. The bedrooms and living room were air conditioned. We had WIFI and TV as well. The home is located in the middle of an Amish community which made it very special. We enjoyed petting the animals who lived nearby. We had a wonderful and relaxing time. The property is away from the hubbub but extremely close to the action. We could have walked up the street to the Bird in Hand Bakery. The Bird in Hand Market was a short drive away. Sight and Sound Theater is a short 10 minute drive away. We loved our visit here!

Bucolic Countryside Stay

A lovely cottage in one of the most beautiful and quiet settings. Comfortable beds, large rooms ,and very clean.As mentioned by others, the upstairs bath needs attention to make it more more user friendly and stable. We found the internet connection to be very slow. I would definitely return in the future!!!

A very peaceful setting and wonderful accommodations

I arranged a family getaway to the Amish country and was really impressed with the our choice of accommodations! What a clean and spacious house in a beautiful country setting! The rooms were very large and there was lots of room for everyone to gather. The front porch had lots of seating and the yard provided room for the grandkids to run! It's a great place especially if you like privacy and are looking for relaxation!

Breathtaking

I went with two other couples. We sat outside and literally just talked for hours enjoying the view and nature. We saw an eagle flying and saw the stars at night. We would definitely come back and stay in this same house. There was such a peaceful feeling there. Hard to explain unless you were there.

A Peaceful Retreat

We enjoyed our stay at the property. The farm was beautiful, and the home was spacious and clean. Instructions for check-in and out + house policies were clear. We enjoyed watching the bald eagles who are nesting in a tree in an adjacent field as well as seeing horses, goats, and meeting the friendly dog on the property. It was convenient to get to nearby spots in Strasburg, Intercourse, Ronks and into Lancaster. We’ve already talked highly of the property to friends and family and would definitely consider staying again!

Happy trails .

It was great for over family. The grounds were very scenic . The location was out of the way so it was very peaceful, but close enough to all the things you would want to see and do in Lancaster .
