Relaxing getaway

We decided to book a quick trip out to Granbury/Glen Rose to take the kids to Fossil Rim and Dinosaur Valley and came across this adorable A frame. We loved the property. There was just enough room for our family of 4. We were able to take advantage of the kayak and my husband and son had some fun. We got rained in part of the trip but we had plenty to do with board games and the mini pool table and foosball. We had some severe weather one of the nights and stayed in contact with the owners who were at a property nearby and offered shelter had we needed to take cover. The owners were very kind and communicative when we had questions. They even had easter eggs for the kids. My daughter loved the hammock in the backyard and spent some time out there just relaxing. I would definitely recommend this place.

Relaxing Spring Break

My family and I enjoyed our stay, we honestly wish we stayed a little longer :( The host had great communication and even let us check in early if we’d like! Everything was so convenient and well thought out. We tried to enjoy every spot indoor and outdoor of the home. One of my favorite parts was seeing the blood moon eclipse!!! My family will forever remember this little getaway. I can’t wait to come back to Lake Creek! 3

Great spot!

We stayed here to visit all the dinosaur activities and Fossil rim in Glenn Rose. The drive was not bad at all (25 mins). The house has a half rustic and half updated feel. A few more updates and this place would be next level. For the price though you can’t beat it! We were also pleasantly surprised that it had everything you’d need for a weekend stay including condiments, and spices for cooking and grilling! Literally everything minus the groceries. This made life way easier! My family loved staying here especially our kids who slept up stairs. We would definitely stay here again!

March girls hiking trip .

We all enjoyed our stay in this cute home . After an eight mile hike it was so nice to come back and cook a nice meal in a kitchen that had everything we needed and to relax on the nice comfy sofa . The home is decorated perfectly and the outdoor space is just right for sitting and relaxing or enjoying dinner with the family .

Fun with my Sister

My sister and I enjoyed a ‘get away’ at this cozy cabin. The place was well-equipped and well-thought out. There is something for every body. Our favorite moments were sitting on the lake dock at sunset, relaxing in one of the many outside seating areas, and watching a movie on the big screen. It was very comfortable. Amy, the host, was excellent at communicating and responding to questions. Look forward to visiting again.

Host and house

Amy is an amazing host with a unique house very close to the lake, where you can swim or kajaking (the kajak is in the garden of the house). In and around the house you find everything, you want or need. So it was a perfect stay!

Family Vacation

Great trip before the kids go back to school. The cabin was well stocked with everything you need, clean and cozy. The kids enjoyed the activities outside and sleeping upstairs. The location is great for visiting Granbury and Glen Rose and the community pool was just right down the road to go cool off in the evenings! Will definitely keep this place in mind for any future trips, we loved it.

The Triangle House!

My wife and I loved our stay at Lake Creek Cabin. Very cute place, comfy and clean. I wish we could have stayed longer because I love the outdoor seating areas. Perfect for outdoor cooking and relaxing. House has all of the comforts you are looking for. would definitely come back!

VRBO nightmare I hope to forget

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the experience I recently had at the not so charming lake creek cabin, which greatly disappointed me and left me with a negative impression of your establishment. With high expectations we arrived on Friday, hoping to have an enjoyable and pleasant experience. Unfortunately, my visit turned out to be quite the opposite. From the moment we walked in, there were numerous issues that accumulated and contributed to my disappointment. Moreover, the cleanliness and upkeep of the premises were subpar. The facility seemed to be in a state of disarray, general lack of maintenance was appalling. This not only detracted from the ambiance but also raised concerns about hygiene and sanitation standards. Definitely, opposite of the charming cabin that was pictured and described in the listing. The community amenties (pool) and outdoor living areas that were misrepresented in the description are only a few of the terrible parts of the weekend I hope to soon forget. The culmination of these issues made my visit an unpleasant and regrettable experience. As a loyal customer who had previously enjoyed several VRBO rentals.I am significantly disheartened that this stay wasn't a more pleasant memory.I believe that constructive feedback is essential for the growth and improvement of any business, and that is the intent behind this letter. I hope my concerns are taken seriously and that steps will be taken to rectify these issues.

Booked this house for a girls weekend and it did not disappoint! The house was cozy and welcoming! It was clean and every space was well utilized. Amy was great and so accommodating! She went out of her way to make us welcome. She left us a bottle of wine to welcome us and went the extra mile! We will definitely rent this cabin again.

Amazing Time

The place was perfect!! Quiet outside, a short walk to the lake. I mean literally a 1 minutes walk to the dock. The cabin was clean. Plenty of spices and towels etc…. We used the fire pit and there was even some logs there for us. The kids enjoyed all the games and hammock and tree swing. Amy was amazing, I’m talking every time I texted her she responded within a minute. We will be back and you would be foolish to pass this cabin up if it’s on your list.

The cabin was great! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked. The location made it eastly to get to the lake, and to downtown with ease. It was perfect for a weekend getaway in Granbury!

Terrific Property in Granbury

What a gem! This cabin is PERFECT! We visited with our two grandkids (ages 3 and 7). They loved it! Everything about this property is great for families or adults. There is so much to enjoy with the lake across the street. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate, but the kids loved the activities inside and outside. Ou official VRBO judge (Finn, our 7 year old grandson) rated this: "Best VRBO ever PopPop!"

Quaint Cabin

Nice cabin the weather wasn't the greatest so we didn't spend any time outside but the cabin had all we needed. You will be outside of town and it takes a bit to get to Granbury but we liked the location. Private and not right on the road. We plan on coming back.

Great!

This was a cozy and quaint cabin, it had everything we needed. Our son wanted to go fishing and to our surprise there were poles to use and casting was easy to do off the dock by the lake which was a short walk from the cabin. Ms. Amy was great host and communicated very well with us. She was able to provide great information on fun things to do around town and where we could go to eat. Overall it was a great stay and we were able to make great family memories. I have to mention that we left our cooler bag behind and Ms. Amy and Courtney did us a great favor by mailing it back to us! We really appreciated them going out of their way to mail our cooler bag back to us. Thank you!
