Relaxing Getaway

We loved the large terrace with a big table. The pool was an ongoing attraction for the kids. The water in front of the house was a nice background, but for swimming you need to go to another beach. The island is large and offers a lot of things to do.

A nice house with a great pool and right by the ocean as well.

The house has 5 bedrooms, 4 upstairs and one down, two with en suite bathrooms and a third in the hallway. We travelled there with 11 people and 4 families so the layout worked pretty well, the first night no one wanted the basement bedroom but it was in high demand by the second day. A/C in all the bedrooms was great if you like it, but it was normally cool enough with great breezes that you could leave all the windows open and sleep comfortably. We had no issues with bugs at all, the only critters we saw were iguanas. There was a lot of kid stuff there, 2 pack and plays and a high chair that we didnt know about which were helpful. The kitchen was well equipped and there was a fantastic huge outdoor dining table overlooking the ocean and the pool which was just perfect for an island house. Internet was really good, we never watched the satalite but brought our Apple TV which was great to chill the kids in front of after a long day in the sun and it worked with no issues there. On the complaint side, the beds were all as hard as rocks and pillows were more like small couch cushions. The furniture in the living room was a bit sparse and the living room's central location in the house meant that if one kid in our party (which had 4 under 4)was up, everyone was up. The beach they are near by is scenic but not big, sandy or good for laying out etc. St. Francois was about a mile away, too far to walk with the kids and too narrow of a road to walk at night so we ended up having to drive everywhere, often very short trips such as to the bakery Aleonard for fresh bread but they only took about 3 mins. Maryse the caretaker was fantastic and took care of the small issues happily. Her husband catered a delicious meal called Chicken Columbo for the night of our arrival which was so welcome and they even put milk and other groceries in the fridge for us so we didn't have to run out first thing too. At the end of the day, we had a great stay and would definitely stay there again.

Agréable séjour

Nous sommes très heureux de notre séjour à la villa créole: propre et vaste pour notre famille de 11 membres. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l’accueil lors de notre arrivée en soirée: un dîner avait été prévu pour nous et un petit-déjeuner pour le lendemain.

Belle villa bien située

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. Les réponses à nos questions ont toujours été obtenues rapidement. La villa est grande, bien située et propre. Néanmoins, l'équipement de la cuisine était restreint, le barbecue et le mobilier extérieur étaient usés et pour le prix, nous pensions que la villa serait plus luxueuse.

Superbe villa !

Nous avons passé deux semaines de rêve en Guadeloupe et cette villa y a largement contribué : l'emplacement est idéal, dans un quartier tranquille, de la place pour garer 3 voitures, de grands espaces extérieurs, une piscine propre avec vue sur une magnifique petite plage sauvage juste en bas de la villa. Nous n'avons manqué de rien et chacun (nous étions 13) a rapidement trouvé sa place dans la maison. La climatisation dans toutes les chambres a été bien appréciée. Je l'avais lu dans certains commentaires et j'avais du mal à y croire mais je confirme : pas de moustiques ! Francesca, la propriétaire, a été extrêmement disponible tout au long de notre séjour même si elle n'était pas sur place. Le bruit des vagues, les iguanes qui nous rendent visite près de la piscine et cette magnifique vue sur les palmiers et la mer nous manquent déjà. Je recommande vivement !

Nice house and good location

This house is in a very good location, about 4 km from a nice grocery store and very close to restaurants. The house itself is as we expected, It had everything we needed I’ll do we would’ve like to have a few more pillows and some blankets. The communication with the owner, Yohan, was good, although he didn’t always reply within 24 hours, we always manage to get our answers, Corinne was very nice also. So overall we enjoyed our stay but unfortunately we can’t say that we would go back just because of the neighbour’s dog who woke us up 8 mornings out of 11 mornings at around 6 AM but that is not Yohan‘s fault 🙁.

Maison très agréable

La maison se trouve dans un lotissement de jolies maisons de st François, en bord de mer, avec une jolie vue mer et palmiers. La maison est agencée de façon que 2 familles peuvent facilement vivre sans se marcher dessus en occupant 4 chambres, la 5ieme est en en rdc. Francesca qui nous a accueilli est très serviable et gentille, et offre la possibilité de commander des plats cuisinés délicieux!! Il faut juste noter qu il n y a pas vraiment de bars ou restaurants accessibles facilement à pied de la maison.

Extraordinaire.

Superbe vue sur la mer de la terrasse, également de la piscine. Logement très agréable, Très propre et bien aménagé. Super accueil de Francesca, toujours à l’écoute de nos besoins. Une parenthèse de bonheur

Une maison au top avec des chambres accuillantes et literie nickel, idéalement située au bord d'une petite plage où on peut se baigner avec masque. Une piscine ensoleillée un extérieur qui permet de passer d excellents moments et un accueil des propriétaires plus qu’agréable. Très arrangeants en plus d’ être prévenant. Un grand merci à eux et à la personne qui nous a cuisiné 2 excellents plats locaux . Nous reviendrons avec plaisir lors d un prochain voyage.

Maison très agréable...

La maison est parfaite et suffisamment grande pour y passer un excellent séjour à 10 personnes. La situation est privilégiée dans une résidence, au bord de l’océan. Je recommande pour visiter la Guadeloupe, sachant qu’il y a déjà beaucoup à faire aux alentours de Saint-François !

En premier lieu nous avons été très agréablement surpris de constater que la villa est encore plus belle que sur les photos. Un grand merci à Maryse qui est toujours présente pour nous conseiller et nous préparer des bons petits plats. C'est le moment de faire une pause en famille (nombreuse) et de se laisser guider

Merci Maryse de nous prendre en charge avant même notre arrivée (proposition d'un souper tout prêt pour notre arrivée, une attention pour le petit déjeuner, visite complète de la maison, des informations et des conseils pour les visites autour de Saint François, les commerçants...) Pas de problème si on adopte l'option farniente, la maison s'y prête et Maryse s'occupe des repas (miam!). Pour visiter Grande terre, tout est accessible. Une escapade à la Désirade ou petite terre, c'est parfait!

très belle habitation, très fonctionnelle et très bien située (vue imparable sur Marie-Galante).

pas évidente à trouver (peut-être indiquer route des touristes....) lors de l'arrivée, prévoir un passage du plombier et peut être un congélateur plus grand (pas adapté au nombre de résidents). Sinon nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille et avec les iguanes qui se promènent près de la piscine. Maryse est disponible et très dévouée et de très bon conseil, merci à elle et à Rose-Hélène pour tout. Nous retournerions facilement dans ce logement. Bonne base de départ pour visiter Grande Terre le 25 août 2016

Séjour inoubliable

Une villa de rêve

Une superbe maison tout confort! Un accueil plus que parfait! Merci Maryse, vous et votre mari , vous avez été top! Accompagnée par 13 membres de la famille, la maison a fait l'unanimité, vaste et fonctionnelle, elle a répondu à nos attentes et besoins, vaste terrasse avec une superbe vue sur la mer, belle piscine, je recommande cette maison à 200% !!!
