We loved our stay at the chalet! It was warm & cosy, had a great charm about it. Especially enjoyed sitting on the deck in the sun in the afternoon admiring the incredible views! Highly recommend.

Lovely accommodation, exactly what we needed. Only challenge was loud traffic and trains throughout the night, but that's obviously out of host control! We will definitely stay again.

Lovely stay

This was a lovely stay, with excellent facilities and a very lovely cabin to stay. The kitchen was well stocked and spacious. We had a lovely time staying in Arthur’s Pass Village.

Arthur's Pass Chalet

We loved the log-cabin/chalet vibe of this cosy, old-fashioned bach. Great for a group of us staying with upstairs and downstairs spaces. Amazing location, we had a wonderful time.

Great place in Arthurs Pass

Had everything we needed - very comfortable. Only downside was the smokey smell from the upstairs fireplace from previous visitors.

Delightful cottage stay!

Wonderful location - easy walk into town and access to tracks easily.Beautiful chalet with everything you need. Was perfect for Christmas and felt cosy and warm in the wet weather!

Warm and spacious family accomodation in great location.

Lovely stay at the chalet for 2 families. Lovely and warm with the fire going and the kitchen was well equipped for eating in. Great location for walks in Arthur’s Pass. The host was great at communicating and we would definitely stay again

Comfortable Spacious Chalet at Arthurs Pass

This well-equipped chalet provides a comfortable base from which to explore this area. Comfortable beds and good heating options for keeping warm and toasty. Lots of walks nearby and options to eat out. Enjoyed train watching too.

Fantastic retreat

The chalet was fantastic - wooden rafters and ceilings throughout, great open fire in a huge lounge room, large sunny deck, well stocked kitchen, good bedrooms. We were only there for two nights but would really like to return

Lovely huge house nestled in the woods. Easy walking distance to Avalanche Peak and Devil's Punchbowl walking tracks. Be sure to use firewood from the woodshed, the outdoor wood is often wet.

Beautiful bach!

We loved staying here - just down the road from the village and close to lots of walks into the surrounding beech forest. On rainy days the large open fire in the lounge was a great place to gather around. Thanks for making this place available.

What a find!

This place was a unique charming chalet in Arthur's Pass. was perfectly located for hikes. Kitchen had everything for cooking and the living area was super cozy for after hike relaxing with friends. Loved it!

Great place to stay and explore

Wonderful, warm Basecamp for exploring the Arthur's Pass area. Clean and well appointed house with lots of living space. Great fire and heating for those cold winter days. I would have given it five stars if it had a hot tub, like of said in the listing description! Great place nonetheless!

Idyllic large, spacious rustic lodge huge balcony to relax.

Excellent large, spacious rustic and very quaint lodge huge balcony to relax. With excellent view of mountains and Arthur pass railway. Very clean for such a rustic cottage. Perfect location for strolling to the Devils punchbowl waterfall(5mins walk to foot of waterfall and 30mins climb). Beautiful birdsong and stargazing from balcony. Loved our 2night stay. Thank you so much - highlight of our months trip

Great house amd fabulous location

We were 4 adults and 3 kids and had plenty of room. Very spacious house. Clean and comfortable. Was a bit cold initially but once we lit the fire and used the heat pumps the house was nice and warm. Highly recommend and would stay there again!
