Spacious and fit our group well. Seamless checkin. Kitchen had all we needed to boil crabs for supper and grill oysters. The screened porch and swing were so relaxing. It came with linens but we didn’t realize that! Overall very good.

Family vacation

The house was nicely updated and very clean. The house had all accommodations to make a family feel comfortable and at home. There were plenty of games, books, and even pool toys for the kiddos. The kitchen had beautiful plates and everything we needed. I would definitely bring my family and friends back to this venue!

newer rental and close to main street

rental was cleaned and appreciated the extra necessity (toiletries, dishwasher liquid, and laundry detergent). Rental is within 5 minutes of driving to almost everything of the island. Would consider again when we are visiting the island. thank you

Lovely place

This home was very enjoyable. Nice King master bedroom with bath. Two good rooms Upstairs. There's open area with kitchen and dining room. Fit all our needs and the extra bonus was a screened in porch. We could walk to the Chincoteague Fair and see ponies in the stockyard and the fireworks from the backyard and front were fabulous

Family Vacation 2022

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to Chincoteague for our family vacation for 13 years and Silver Sails development is our favorite place to stay. We had stayed in this home when it was Adams Apple and since it became Seas the Day it has been greatly improved. It's been freshly painted and redecorated plus new furnishings. Our grandkids love the pool and the location is just fine for us. We look forward to coming back next year.

September 2021 Stay

Overall we had a great stay. Things to note- -the dryer does not work - we had wet towels most of the stay -there is no dvd player as listed in the amenities -the upstairs bedroom mattresses are very uncomfortable -there could be more cookware provided. There were only 2 saucepans, so making larger meals was a bit complicated -in the amenities section, the basketball court and tennis should be listed as nearby. It seems like it is in the silver sails community which it is not.

Hi Katie! Thank you for letting us know- we would've gladly brought you some larger pots and pans & had the dryer checked out while you were here! :) I will make sure those things are taken care of! We hope to have you and your family again! Best, Lea Anna

July 2021 Stay

We absolutely loved our stay at Seas the Day! Conveniently located to all of our favorite destinations, yet quietly tucked in the island for peaceful evenings. The house was immaculate and we loved the decor. A few minor inconveniences included the poorly draining upstairs bath, squeaky beds that need tightening in the bunk bed room, the septic alarm which went off several times during our stay, and two small trash cans which were tipped over each night by an island critter...left quite a mess. Insignificant things to an otherwise amazing accommodation. Booking, check in and check out was by far the best we've experienced.

August 2021 Stay

This was our 12th year for our vacation in Chincoteague. Our stay at Seas the Day was great. Our grandkids really enjoyed the pool and we all had a wonderful time on Captain Dan's cruise arouund the island. We saw ponies, 2 bald eagles, and lots of dolphins. Can't wait to come back next year.
