Weekend for walking group

Great property for a big group of 10. Plenty of beds so we all got a bed each. Would use again.

Wonderful holiday home

We loved our stay here. This house has so much character, it felt full of life and stories. It was spacious and comfortable for our large group with a lovely garden area as well. The kids enjoyed the children’s books and activity books on the shelves. Enjoyable walk to the three sisters lookout and a lovely cafe around the corner.

A lovely rustic country home walking distance to Echo Point. Located on quiet street. The bedding arrangements are great for big family.

Lovely family Christmas

Lots of bedrooms and beds, plenty for our group of 8. A lovely peaceful and shaded garden to relax in, and a very well equipped kitchen meant we could have a great large family feast. A really nice place.

Great accomodation and host

We had team members travelling for work in Katoomba and the team enjoyed their stay. Slav was great communicator and helped us out greatly during our stay.

Amazing stay

We were group of 10 people celebrated new year in this house. It was pleasure to stay at this house. The room sizes were good, living room was spacious.

Beautiful house, centrally located

We had 2 families stay with teenagers and young adults. Loved the place, so close to the 3 sisters and across the road from a beautiful bushland. The house is very well equipped with everything you need and had plenty of games too. Only suggestion would be some mirrors in the bedrooms. Thanks Slav.

we had a pleasant stay at this property, had all the things we needed. check in process was simple and easy. plenty of beds for 2 families. great location, as it is walkable distance to the 3 sisters.

Not a good experience.

Pros: Nice house, plenty of beds, central heating on ground floor. Cons: Lounge area a bit small for large groups. The sofa seats 4 to 5 people. Didn't tell us we wouldn't have use of the full property i.e. the floor plans show a separate studio accommodation which we allocated to my step-son and his partner. When I asked for the code, Slav started questioning me about why I needed to use it. I explained, but he insisted he only uses it for groups of 12 or more. That was not mentioned in his listing. For us, an accommodating host would have apologized that his advertisement was not clear, would have said to use the room on this occasion, and he will update the ad so it's clear in future. After this initial contact with Slav on the Friday, I contacted him the next day to ask what pods to use in his coffee machine as we wanted to buy more. I am aware that using the wrong pods can damage a coffee machine, so I did not want this to occur. He didn't get back to me at all, so don't expect timely responses from Slav. 3 for cleanliness because the top of the shower door frame was very dusty, dinner plate had dried cheese on it (other plates ok), and there was a red blotch on the first glass I used (other glasses ok). Note: photos were taken as proof. As an aside, if you stay here be careful of the back sliding doors as they are a finger trap (I learned the hard way). We won’t be staying here again because we found Slav hard to deal with, which detracted fron our holiday.

Double booking

The property is great but our group was double booked. We turned up to find another group of 14 people had also booked the house directly through the owner. We rang the owner multiple times that night but he didnt answer our calls. Both groups had to fit more than 20 people into the house. Both groups were attending the same conference in Katoomba and were unable to find alternative accommodation at such short notice. When the owner rang back the following day he offered no apology. We requested a full refund and the owner was only willing to offer $500. He likened the situation to us eating a meal at a restaurant then asking for our money back. This is absurd. We followed Stayz protocols of contacting the owner but he wouldnt return our calls for 24 hours. We have had ongoing conversations with the owner and Stayz but it seems nothing more can be done. As it stands the owner made a lot of money out of this weekend by charging two groups, both of whom were significantly put out. Our group was not able to use the kitchen and both groups got very little sleep. The house is great and in a great location but after my experience, I would not recommend you stay here. We have been ripped off.

Great house for small groups

We loved our stay, a lot of bed options makes it's a great place to stay when you're not couples! Heaps of living space, kitchens and bathrooms, we would stay again with no hesitation.

Charming and large house with modern amenities

This house, shortwalking distance from the 3 sisters and Katoomba Falls, is absolutely charming with high ceilings and delightful personal touches from the owner. It is also very large, with all modern amenities, incl plenty of all linen, all kitchen appliances and utensils, etc.

I have been involved in Sport all my life. I have a Diploma in Physical Education and Figure Skating Coaching from Government  Sport Institute of Moscow, Russia.
                Awarded the Title of USSR Master of Sport in Figure Skating.
                Fully qualified Level 2 Coach for Singles, Pairs and Ice Dance with APSA. 
My Figure Skating Achievement :  
                 Three Times Champion of Russia.
                 Five Years in National Team, represent Russia in International Competition.
                 Ten Years Soloist with Ukraine Ballet on Ice.
                 Head Coach and Co-ordinator of the 1988 World Championship Polish National Team In Singles, Pairs and Ice Dance.
                  I have been coaching in Australia in Brisbane for 9 years. 
I was invited to come to Brisbane and teach by the Australian Figure Skating Association - by the then President Mr Don McKnight.
                 My Students were Australian Champions in Senior Single and Ice Dance.
           Student of mine have represented Australia in World Championships four times.
Now I am coaching at Sydney’s Macquarie Ice Rink. 
          I have choreographed 3 Major Ice Shows. My Students have represented N.S.W. in State and National Level Competitions in Singles.                                              
Since 2017 I have transferred my Creative Expressions, Love and Passion into creating a unique atmosphere for my Guests at my iNest Accommodation Properties.
