Not your average mountain hut! The Gibbs lodge sleeps up to 8 people in 5 rooms. Situated at 900m above sea level, less than an hour from central Nelson, with stunning views. Nestled in the Wairoa Gorge bike park. But you do not have to be a mountain biker to enjoy the location!! Electricity, hot showers, toilets and even a washer and dryer. Linen and towels are included. The kitchen is well-equipped. A pizza oven and fire pit set you up for a stunning stay. There is a comfortable lounge space with a large table which can be pulled out onto the deck for summer evening dining with a view, or crank the heating to stay cosy on cooler nights. With 70km of single track at your door step, this is mountain biking paradise, but the closest trails are also beautiful walks or trail runs for those who want to explore at a different pace.
