We had a wonderful stay! The house was very nice, extremely clean, and located in a great neighborhood. It felt very homie and comfortable, with everything just perfect. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

The house was very nice. The pool was huge and the kids loved it. The location was good, everything on the island is just minutes away. We loved the spacious set up, plenty of room for 4 adults and 4 children. The only draw back was there were very few beach towels and/or beach supplies for 8 people but we managed . Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us. We love Marco Island!!!!

Wonderful home for our family trip

The property was great and had tons of space for our family. Had issues with pool being heated but was addressed promptly and were able to use pool about halfway through trip. Neighbors are friendly and even saw a manatee in the canal behind house. Would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful paradise

This house was absolutely perfect. Pictures are true as advertised. My husband and I enjoyed the heated pool and walks around the neighborhood. Horizon was absolutely on the ball with any questions that I had. Can’t wait to revisit. Thank you for a wonderful visit!!

The stay was perfect, we love Marco Island and is our secund time at this property. The house is perfect for a family vacation. We enjoyed a lot the outdoor area.. The location is convenient and very quiet neighborghood. Waitting to be back soon!!!

February getaway

Family loved their own guest bedroom area and pool. We all saw lots of diving pelicans, ibises and burrowing owls!! Used the wash machine a lot. Updated kitchen and bathrooms!

Great vacation home

When we picked this home out to rent we were really drawn to the patio/pool area because of the size…it we everything we had hope it was and more! We spent 90% of our time outside! The bunk room was great since we had two families with kids. The inside you can tell was recently renovated and as great in person as shown in pictures. Great location to get to anything needed! If we travel back to Marco Island we will define booking this house again!!

LOVED this home and the location!

My husband and two kids (ages 9 and 11) loved this home and the location! We were only about 2.5 miles from the beach/shops/restaurants/etc. and within a short 5 minute bike ride from Mackle Park which the kids absolutely loved!! The house was clean, updated, very roomy, and we all loved the HEATED pool! The big patio doors opening up to the pool area and outdoor water area were a huge bonus! We felt like we were always outside!!! The neighborhood was gorgeous and we always felt safe!! We would definitely stay at this home again!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our only concerns were the pool was not heated at all, we texted about it and they said to add water to drain, but that did not help, but we did enjoy having the pool but it was very cold. The king size bed in master bedroom had some very hard spots. Overall the house was great, we loved Marco Island.

Love Marco Island

We had such a great time in Marco Island! The house was great super comfortable lots of space for my family! The only complaints: I wish they had a pool fence my 22 month old grandson was with us so we couldn’t enjoy the backyard as much as we would’ve liked. It was great having our boat with us but Marco Island is super difficult to launch your boat. Also leading up to my trip and during I was constantly being reminded of the regulations in Marco Island via text and email.

Great house!

We stay at Marco Island every year and this house had a great layout, looks newly renovated and clean on the inside. All the rooms were a good size and the bunk room fit 5 teenage kids easily. Plenty of space for my big family and two dogs. The pool is very big and deep not much of a shallow end but that was fine for our family. The canal in the back is perfect if you have anyone in the family that wants to fish or hang out. I did not see a fire pit in the back but they have a bunch of seats if you want to sit by the canal and enjoy the view. Great location and a great time had by all! I would rent this house again.

Birthday Trip

It is a nice property, but although most has been updated, there are elements that are still quite dated (the original intercom system still in the house, the aged appliances in the outside bar, etc). When we arrived, not only was the front door unlocked a key was in it! We assumed it was the cleaning crew, but had to do an entire sweep of the house to confirm it was secure. There were several items that were broken (drawer, door handles, etc) and we fixed in order to use. The kitchen cabinets were disorganized and had to be rearranged in order to find anything. The cabinets and dishes were dirty and had to all be washed before use. The garage was very messy and cluttered with miscellaneous stuff that would not have needed to be there. The dryer was broken and so we had to wait for a repairman to come before we could do any laundry. The sunrises from the back patio were amazing!

The ONLY reason we chose this Richmond Ct home was the boat lift. After a 15hr drive, boat in tow, we unpacked and checked out the boat lift. The power supply lines to the lift were cut and the power box laid in the flower bed. Marco Island does not allow boats to be trailered on the property. After driving for so long, we were in a panic! I called the property management emergency line and was immediately put in contact with a local property manager from Horizon Rentals. Pam was fantastic! She asked me to give her a few minutes to look into the issues. She called back and explained that the lift motor was fried and the owner was in town in town trying to get it fixed but it would not be operational for our trip. Before I could give her some angry choice words, she already had a solution to put us in another house. She emailed two options. Both options were much nicer and cost much more but she insisted the difference in price would be comped. Within the 45 minutes we were relocated. We stayed in a luxurious house on the canal where we could park our boat. We had the time of our lives! We’ll be using Horizon for our next trip! Thank you turning a potentially terrible trip into a wonderful experience!
