I am glad you enjoyed your stay. We are sorry the washer gave out, and we have now replaced it. Please, only open windows with screens in them, particularly when it is dark outside because moths will be attracked to the light and come in the window.

The difficulty locking any windows has never been a problem before this guest reported it. I have since made repairs to the window tracking and all the windows are now locked.

This property is as it appears in the photographs and written description. This guest could have saved himself a lot of time and negativity by reading the VRBO listing and looking at the pictures. We operate a successful VRBO home which has been given many 5 star ratings by the wonderful guests we have had. There is nothing false or misleading in the description or photographs of our home and property, yet this guest made numerous false claims about the property and the description of the property and its amenities. Our VRBO listing plainly states that there is a grill located a short walk away (2-3 minutes) at the community clubhouse. In no way have we implied that there is a grill at the house. The guest was obviously upset about the location of the grill being at the clubhouse and became vindictive and deceptively critical of our home. His review very much misrepresents our property as can be seen by our other guest reviews and photos of our property. Our home was designed by a professional architect which most people can recognize from the photographs and special care was taken to make it as green as possible. Our orchard has 50 fruit trees which are easily identified by the fencing around them to protect them from deer. Both bedrooms have ample closet space and the out of the way single bed on the upstairs loft / landing is a bonus surprise retreat for children. Because we do not stay at this house full time, we have chosen to use ice trays instead of an ice maker which can create a risk of water damage to the house. We do have Direct TV, Roku TV and Netflix, but this guest may not have been familiar with how to operate the remotes. If any guest ever has a question we provide our personal phone numbers and the numbers of our property manager and repairman once they book. This guest did have one legitimate concern about the loosened torlet paper holder. Either he or the guest before him must have used the handle as an aid to pull up with which loosened the support. As soon as we became aware of the problem, we replaced it , and the guest could have had this done while he was there by calling me or my repairman (Both of our numbers were available to him once he booked). We look forward to hosting guests who appreciate the natural beauty of our home and community as accurately represented in pictures and writing and are more than willing to answer any questions.
