Strath Creek Lodge at The Village Green

The bunkhouse is a great way to bring people together who share an interest in fun, sport and nature, to enjoy The Village Green facilities and the beautiful, seasonal and tranquil surroundings.

Whether you are looking for a venue to host your family reunion, sports and leadership camp or special gathering of friends – you can achieve it all at The Village Green.

The Strath Creek Lodge which sleeps 25 people has three bedrooms with single bunks and the fourth bedroom with a double bed bunk.

There are two bathrooms, an open plan kitchen and living area with couches and a Coonara wood heater, WiFi in all rooms and google chrome for you to stream Netflix etc from your phone to the TV.

A brand new mobile phone tower is in our area if you are with Telstra or Aldi you will have good mobile coverage. All rooms have aircon and heating. There is an 80-inch tv in the main living area and 2 smaller tvs in 2 of the 4 bedrooms.

The outside deck is undercover and has a BBQ and outdoor dining on the undercover deck and a table tennis table that can also be set up in this area to provide fun for all ages. The deck provide a perfect viewing spot for the rolling hills and valleys as well as the wide range of native wildlife to be seen by day and night. Kookaburras, kangaroos, wombats, the famous King Parrots and the resident lamas and sheep.

It’s a great base to start the day before a game of cricket or other sports, exploring the surrounding area, engaging in the wide range of activities the property has to offer. There is the hedge maze, cricket nets, basketball hoops, low ropes course to name a few.

For the more adventurous, there are hills to climb, orientation courses of varying difficulty and 200 acres to explore on foot or mountain bike (if you have one). The hills are steep, so walking poles are encouraged but the view is worth it!

For the Strath Creek Lodge guests will be required to bring their own sleeping bags, doonas, and towels. Pillows and bottom sheets are supplied.

All noise and music must be turned off after 11 pm.
