This was a studio facility, but it was very acceptable for two people. Although it was a studio, we had plenty of room to move around, plus extra chairs, a sofa, a nice big bed, and cooking facilities. We had all the kitchen equipment we needed to cook. So, we lacked little inside. The view from the balcony was fantastic: a beautiful shoreline for miles up and down the coast. The view also included the interior courtyard of the Sandcastle, with its swimming pool and a beautiful white egret that came every morning to fish in the little pond by the walkway. I can't recommend it highly enough if you're a couple who wants to get away and spend most of your time on the beach or in the town of Aransas Pass. We attended several other restaurants and didn't miss anything by not having a dining facility at the hotel. There are plenty of dining options in AP, even though it was off-season.

Everything was as advertised and as expected. Could’ve used 2 more pillows on the king sized bed, but we made it work since we forgot to bring our own. Our stay as great and we’d definitely come back again.

During our stay they were doing work on the building. The pool area was closed for maintenance during our stay also. Not a problem for us since we were not planning to use it anyway. We were informed before our arrival that these things were going on but it did not affect our time there.

Perfect getaway for two!

My husband and I wanted to get away, to the beach, for our 35th wedding anniversary. This property was exactly what we were looking for! The unit has views of the beach, pool and pond. Very clean and has everything you need. It is exactly as pictured online. Would definitely come back!

July Vacation

Our condo, at Sandcastle, was just the right size for the two of us. Even though we did have a small problem with the humidity in our room, we really enjoyed our stay. The bed was very comfortable and we had plenty of towels in the bathroom. The beach was a very short walk away, as was the pool. We decided the next time we travel to Port Arkansas, it will be either springtime or later in the fall. It was hot, but we loved it!

Thank you for sharing your feedback on your previous stay with us. While we always strive to make sure everything is in working order upon guests’ arrival, unforeseen maintenance items did need to be addressed to the elevators. We work diligently to ensure these items are addressed in a proper and secure manner. We hope your last stay with us does not deter you from coming to stay with us in the future.
