Great spaces make this home ideal for multigenerational vacations. We had room to gather as a family for meals, play card games, play with dogs outside, and bathroom space gave everyone personal space. The parents appreciated having two children in the master bedroom with them. The grandparents took advantage of a room downstairs with patio door access for letting dogs out. The kitchen had everything we needed for large family meals.Lovely views, deer visitors every morning, and easy access to the riverbed trail enhanced our stay. We felt "away from it all" while being just two miles from the heart of Santa Fe. Highly recommend.

Casa Reves was a very comfortable home base for our trip to Santa Fe. A quick drive into the old town, but with the peace and quiet of being just outside of the town center. We loved sitting outside each evening after our days activities watching the birds and feeling the breeze. Comfy beds, plenty of space for our family of four.

Five stars is not enough!

We had a great experience staying here. The location could not be better, beautiful hill top views of the mountains, yet less than a five minute drive to the plaza. Plenty of room for two families and our two small pups. House is laid out well and was very comfortable. The one and only issue we had was ants. Kitchen had quite a few ants BUT it was easily dealt with and did nothing to hinder our stay!

The home is so well thought-out and comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoor patios and all of the natural light that fills the home. Watching the sunrise from the kitchen and sunset from downstairs porch were daily delights. Bathrooms are spacious and lovely. We had a great stay.

A Fun Time Away

We loved the seclusion of the house and beautiful surrounding area. It was close to Santa Fe but felt miles away. It's a perfect family house with plenty of space and bedrooms. We enjoyed the generous back patio where we had dinner and played card games.We will return.

The house was perfect for our stay with 7 adults. The kitchen was equipped with most things that we needed during our stay. The location was perfect to travel back and forth to the Hyde Memorial State Park where the wedding was being held as well as close to restaurants in Santa Fe. Some things we suggest: K-cup machine so that people could use their own coffee. I use decaf and brought my own but had no way to make it. A couple of the screen doors going out onto patios were very hard to open, tracks were full of gravel and debris. Maybe a living room chair that is normal height so that elderly family member can get up from chair without needing assistance. Sofa and chairs were pretty low.

It was beautiful.

We had an amazing time in Santa Fe at casa Al reves. The house was enchanting, with lovely views. It was a short drive to the action in downtown Santa Fe but the location was private and peaceful. We loved this home and will definitely book it again when we come back to Santa Fe.

Beautiful house!

It was first time visit to Santa Fe. This house is located in quiet area but it only takes10min from Santa Fe plaza. All of us had own bathroom and privacy. We really enjoyed the sunshine from those big windows every morning. We have 0 complains. Highly recommend it.

Thanksgiving holiday

This was our first family getaway holiday trip. The five of us had a fantastic time in Santa Fe and the home was a perfect setting. It was a short drive into town. We highly suggest if you need supplies the "Market Street" is the place to go for groceries. The home was exactly what we needed to spread out and relax. In the evening, we lite the fire pit on the patio outside the kitchen area and had fantastic dark sky evenings. There are so many stars to gaze upon.

Home was lovely. Beds comfy and kitchen well appointed. However, furniture was uncomfortable with no cozy space to sit. The outside furniture was also lacking in comfort and there was no umbrella for outside table. There was a hammock stand but no hammock.

We were in Santa Fe for a family gathering and enjoyed our time at Casa al Reves. The views are amazing here and we were treated to a fresh snowfall which was icing on the cake. Our family enjoyed an evening around the fire pit which was a trip highlight. The setting and layout of the home are terrific. We did have an issue with heat, but Jeff was very responsive and delivered 2 space heaters to take the chill off. The home itself is decorated somewhat sparely with an ikea vibe, so if you are looking for the full on southwest charm this may not be the house for you.

As soon as you informed us on Jan 14th, we immediately bought cabinet space heaters to ensure a comfortable experience. We then scheduled a repair person to clean and maintenance the units. Not a house for the winter. Well located but with many deficiencies.

(1) The heating system was unable to cope with temperatures in the high teens. The temperature in the main bedroom was 58 degrees most nights. The only time the house heated up to anything above 62 degrees was in the afternoon when sun streamed in. (2) The so-called living room was an awkward and uncomfortable space between the front door and the downstairs bedrooms. We were a group of 5 people in the house for a week, and no one ever sat in that room. There was no comfortable place in the house to sit and talk and read. There is a lot of outdoor space, but that was of little use when the outside temperature was 17 degrees F. (3) There were 3 1/2 bathrooms, but none were en-suite. To get to the bathroom that served the main bedroom upstairs, you had to walk dow a hall toward the kitchen, in full view of anyone in the kitchen, the dining area, or downstairs. Fine for a family, but no privacy for a group of friends. (4) There was a large dressing room down the hall from the main upstairs bedroom, but no closet in the bedroom. (5) The kitchen appears to have been designed by someone who doesn’t cook. When facing the range while cooking, there was no space on either side of the cook top to put anything such as serving plates, bowls, utensil, food, etc. There is a small convection oven, but it appeared to be too small to cook a large item, such as a turkey, big casserole, etc. On the other hand, the house was well located….very close to the center of Santa Fe but also quite private with great views. But definitely a warm weather house…not a house to be in during the winter.
