Enjoy modern comforts with 2 bathrooms (one an ensuite) to high-speed Starlink WiFi and now a newly added basketball ring and pad. Piccolo Retreat promises an unforgettable escape for up to six guests. Indulge in the charm of Piccolo Retreat, nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac overlooking the neighbouring picturesque farmland. Immerse yourself in the beauty of the mountain range from the expansive kitchen, fully equipped with modern conveniences, including a dishwasher and electric stove top. Marvel at the panoramic views through the large window, where kangaroos and wildlife often grace the National Park landscape and relax around the newly built outdoor firepit area or cook and eat outside with the gas bbq and solid outdoor table and chairs. There is even a half court basketball court!



The dining area, accommodating six guests, makes self-catering a breeze. In the cozy living area, a plush lounge and wood-burning fireplace create the perfect ambiance as well as a smart TV connected to the Wifi where you can use the Apple TV to watch your favourite streaming channels.



Discover comfort in the Master Bedroom with a queen bed, ensuite, and walk-in robe. The second bedroom boasts a queen bed, while the third offers two single beds – all with built-in robes. All three bedrooms have their own wall split system reverse cycle air conditioner for year round comfort. A travel cot is also available - please byo bedding for the cot. The main bathroom features a walk-in shower, vanity, and bathtub, with a separate toilet for added convenience. A washing machine is available in the laundry.

Perfect location for our stay to enjoy the Grape Escape. Easy, beautiful walk to the festival grounds, comfortable accommodation for our group of 6. Large communal areas to enjoy with friends. Will keep it on our list for future stays in the gorgeous Grampians.

Great house

The house was wonderfully warm thanks to the wood heater and double glazing….the roos, emus, birds and der were a wonderful changing vista from the house…location just 2km from the town centre….watching the storms over the hills was just amazing….will stay again

Happy with our stay and it met our expectations

The property is clean and well maintained. Some nice touches that made it feel homely. We loved the location. A short drive from town. Great views with kangaroos and emu's at your door.

Wildlife on your doorstep

Great location, 2 mins walk to the pub. An abundance of kangaroos and emus in the backyard. House is well equipped with comfortable beds and amenities. We would stay again.

A place to breathe

The property was well appointed and so comfortable. It was freezing outside but the house was cosy and warm. The views from the living areas were stunning, looking out to the mountain range with kangaroos and emus grazing close by. We usually stay closer to town, but this location was lovely and tranquil. Will definitely stay again!

Halls Gap Nature Hide !

Great three bedroom, 2 bathroom house, with large open living and kitchen. Terrific views of the Grampians with stunning sunsets over Halls Gap. Best of all was the 'neighbours' - emus, loads and loads of kangaroos (less than a metre away with Joey), hundreds of sulphur crested cockatoos, wood ducks, etc, etc every morning and evening. A real nature hide experience from your dining table !

Amazing Views

The accommodation was lovely. An amazing kitchen and pantry. As we were there during some very hot weather, it would be nice to have a second fan for the bedroom at the front. The biggest disappointment was there was really no place to sit outside and enjoy the amazing views and wild life. A porch or deck would really enhance the property. We would return but only if that was added.

Broken dining chair. Window in front left bedroom doesn't close properly. Toilet has flushing issues. Mound of gravel at front door inconvenient. BBQ and outdoor area would have been nice as the view is lovely.

Nice modern property

Nice new house but slightly disappointing. it certainly has so much potential. Would certainly come back though but not for a while to let things be fine tuned. Great location right near the Halls Gap hotel. It would be nice to have more of an outdoor area for watching the wildlife. A few basic items are missing like garbage bags and tissues. We ended up taking the rubbish with us as it was easier. Would recommend though as I understand it’s a new property
