Summer Paradise is a high demand vacation home in the brand new Windsor Island. Relax and enjoy spending time with your family and friends at this wonderful home. The home is professionally decorated and offers 5 bedrooms and 4 bathroom, featuring a private pool.

On the first floor you have a ensuite with a 1 queen bed. On the second floor you will find the rest of the bedrooms. There is a master bedroom upstairs with a king bed and ensuite. Room 3 has queen bed. Room 4 - Mickey theme room, has a queen bed. Bedroom 5 has one Queen bed. For added enjoyment upstairs you will find a loft with a TV.

When staying in this house, you have access to all the resort amenities! Windsor Island is located in the Davenport area with easy access to Orlando’s theme parks, dining, and shopping. Just 38 miles from Orlando international airport, Windsor Island features resort amenities such as a lazy river, huge pool with slide and tiki bar. You will also find a fitness center, Volleyball court, sundry shop, and video arcade.

Enjoy all that Orlando has to offer such as the theme parks: Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World, Legoland, Discovery Cove, Aquatica and other attraction such as I-Drive, City Walk & Disney Springs; Shopping malls such as The Mall at Millenia, The Florida Mall and The Outlet Mall. Sports events include Orlando City soccer and Orlando Magic basketball.

Just over an hour drive away you will find some of Florida’s favorite beaches such as Cocoa Beach, Clearwater Beach, St. Pete Beach, New Smyrna Beach & Daytona Beach.

WINDSOR ISLAND NOW REQUIRES ALL GUESTS TO BE REGISTERED WITH THE GATE TO OBTAIN ACCESS TO THE COMMUNITY AND EVERY ADULT TO HAVE A VALID ID. Please provide Florida Spirit Vacation Homes with a list of names and drivers who will need to be registered with the gate upon booking. 

*This home has a 4-car limit per reservation. The first 4 cars to enter will be counted for the entire duration of the stay. Street parking is allowed within in designated areas within the Windsor Island Community. *

* The cost to add on pool and spa heat during your stay is $30 a day (plus applicable state and county taxes).*

A very nice place!

The house was large, with plenty of room for all of 9 of us. It was within a short walk of the clubhouse and resort pools. We loved the place. Thanks for much for letting us stay!

Great stay!

We had a great stay and really enjoyed this property! The community center was amazing for both the adults and kids. The property management was proactive when there was an issue with the pool heat and communicated everything with us. I liked that the community was gated with security, we felt very safe, especially to let the kids walk back and forth themselves to the community center. The only thing we would have liked was more lighting outside in the backyard so we could still swim once it got dark. We had a really good time here! We would definitely stay here again!

Host 10/10 responded quickly House 10/10 Check in was a 10/10.. However it was a line but nothing compared to being checked in and going out for the day or night to return home to Wait in an unorganized traffic was crazy.. Front Gate has to do better with guest who have already check in and new arrivals…

Great stay

It was a quick getaway and the house served its purpose. Check-in instructions aren’t detailed and all visitors have to be listed in order to gain access, which is an inconvenience.

Best stay so far

Our family trip was amazing thanks to such a great location. The home away from home was perfect to my family of seven. We each had our own space and the outside noise was kept to a minimum. The pool took some time to warm up but we enjoyed every moment of it. The house is conveniently located to shopping, dining, and entertainment. The community provides security and entertainment if you want a break from the Disney expenses.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: LR TV is the only one to have cable, streaming on all the rest. LR couch was torn in many places and very uncomfortable. No other furniture in the LR even tho house sleeps 10 people, couch seats 5 people...? Kitchen NOT well equipped, not one bowl in the house except cereal bowls, nothing for leftovers. Light above stove is broken. I took a picture of the couch but there is no where to sent you the picture.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 1st time staying at this home and it was beautiful! It is new, clean, and accommodating. The beds were comfortable, the carpets are clean, and the bathrooms spacious. There is a small pool but with a small sitting area. There was just the basics for plates, cups, and cooking utensils. No pool towels or toys- we had to go purchase these. No take-out menus or local suggestions for restaurants. The houses are incredibly close to one another so if you are looking for privacy, this is not the house for you. The pool resort was phenomenal! The staff were pleasant, pool side drinks amazing (mango mai tai), two water slides, splash was enjoyable. Great family atmosphere. Close to Rte 27, Rte 192, and Rte 4. 30 mins. from the airport. Excellent central location.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The management company was very responsive. Windsor Island Resort was nice, however, extremely busy when we went. A big brawl happens at the main resort pool area and cops had to be called. Also, had to look at piles and piles of garbage that were placed on the curbs from other homes that weren’t picked up. I mean piles and at multiple houses. The rental itself was a three star. Had to inquire about our pool heat and after we did it got warmer. Pool water level was very low, inquired about that and they said we could fill it with the hose after hours/at night. I feel this is not a guest responsibility.....Upstairs bedroom fan not working, bathroom toilet paper roll broke. Pool area deck is extremely small which sucks especially because the houses are big and accommodate many guests but the outdoor space does not! Had one small seating area on patio. Need to figure out a creative way to add seating on patio. Also, had beach towels but not enough for each guest the house an accommodates. Carpet was extremely stained. Overall experience was good.

Enjoyed

We did enjoy our stay. The house is exactly as pictured. Spacious and clean inside. Check in was easy. The code lock on the door was convenient and worked great. The host was responsive and friendly. The location of the home is close to the resort pool area. The pool deck furniture is old and the cushions are dirty- not very comfortable to sit on. The unit has the very bare and basic necessities in it. It would be almost impossible to cook a meal with what is included. There wasn’t even an oven mit or a cookie sheet- I would keep this in mind if you are planning on cooking meals during your stay. There was only one kitchen dish towel for the whole unit. Unfortunately there weren’t very many bath towels either and there were no beach towels there. We had to purchase beach towels and we didn’t leave our beach towels behind for the next guest when we left because we figured they’d be thrown out- we passed them on to another family who was arriving at a different unit. All in all we can’t complain about the unit but I think a few additions and suggestions could really make this unit more comfortable and convenient for guests.

Beautiful place

The rental property itself and cleanliness was great. Our experience to get access and into the property was a nightmare. There was a reminder we would get more information about rental property and directions upon our arrival date when we filled out the required rental forms. We arrived to Florida early and waited for our rental communication before heading to the property. It was after 4:10pm while still waiting for information that we called and left a voicemail to the property manager about no communication or detailed of accessing the home. We could only leave a message and no one responded. We contacted VRBO for assistance and they helped push the property manager to send us the confirmation email with arrival directions. Once at the gated resort the security guards said none of my 3 guests 18+ had access except myself. We had to connect with VRBO again to resend missing information that the property manager said they never received. This is why it’s 4 stars, lines for gated check in was long and we weren’t the only ones with gate problems. Although the home and amenities were nice, I would not stay here again because getting to the home and having access was too unorganized. Communication with property manager is not fast or easy.

Filthy. Bare minimum

When we walked in the house, everything seemed OK. Then we realized that comforters on the bed had hair on two of them. A few days later as we move the trashcan it was completely filthy underneath. The washing machine had something in it that ruined two of our shirts that were washed in the first load by themselves. The community is very new and has a lot of construction and beware. It does not show up on GPS maps. The house has the bare minimum that you will need there weren’t even any cleaning products there for us to use to keep the house clean during our stay now we understand why it’s so filthy. There’s no way to even clean up after yourselves. There was a chair of the dining room table that broke while we were sitting in it. The absolute worst was the fact that we were spending New Year’s Eve there with our extended family and granted, and our TV went out that morning. Supposedly we have 24 seven service, but we found out that was untrue after several attempts to contact someone we were told that they couldn’t be out there until Tuesday. We were told that we had spent two days without a TV and nothing could be done without it. We would spend our New Year’s Eve and the days with our grandkids. We spent our money to have the TV fixed. The management company could use a little bit of help in the communication during the stay We know that next time we go back next year, we will not be staying with Florida Spirit vacation homes

Reviewer Comments: Great floorplan for families, great resort amenities, and property management is fantastic. 2nd time staying at Summer Paradise; the property has shown some more wear and tear since last year and the resort is now fully built-out and was very busy (no chairs available at the main pool) Overall a great property, but beds are not comfortable and construction quality is from a national builder and you can hear all the neighbors as it was loud outside and sound traveled right into the unit. Good proximity to Disney and Universal is about a 45 minute drive. Easy drive to Tampa area beaches (St. Pete beach, Clearwater, etc....if no accidents on freeway!)

Trash pick up was a problem, none picked up from the previous guests and none of ours was picked up the entire time we stayed. The community pool had events some of the days we were there, and they closed it to us, limiting our access to it, which is one of the reasons we picked this unit, was its location within a community with a pool/lazy river.

The home didn’t have dishwasher detergent or other typical paper products to begin a stay. There was garbage piled in the front yard for several days. The pool had broken plastic in it, a plastic bottle and was dirty. The area around the pool needed to be cleaned as the corners smelled and were in need of a good power washing. The furniture on the patio was also very dirty. There was also garbage all over the grounds of the community. Overall I would recommend just because there are many amenities in the community.
