Peaceful Stay at Scenic Sapphire Condo

We enjoyed the screened porch overlooking the woods. It was so quiet and peaceful at the condo with beautifully blooming and landscaped golf course areas surrounding. The kitchen was well stocked, good appliances and clean. The TV and wifi worked seamlessly. The bed mattress was very comfortable. The walk-in shower was great. We enjoyed the Mexican restaurant overlooking Toxaway Falls down the road and also went into Cashiers which we always enjoy. Great visit!

Perfect for a relaxing recouperation

We booked a 2 week stay here and it was perfect for us! The host was very responsive--we had an issue the first night that was quickly rectified the next morning. The neighborhood was quiet, great for some hilly walks. The kitchen was stocked with lots of nice touches that we needed. The furniture and beds were very comfy too! Loved the outside screened in porch, too!

Great, quiet spot

We came for a wedding. This place is great location, very quiet, simply furnished, but perfect. It had all the necessary appliances and things we needed. Feel like check out should be 11 am, just to make sure we had everything and all was done before we left. We would stay here again.

Great condo!

We enjoyed this condo. It is located within a country club and it was nice walking our dogs around the property. The condo was very clean and nice. The kitchen was fully stocked with misc items you might end up needing. Gorges State Park is a 5 minute drive and a must see.

Loved our Fall Retreat.

Everything was so wonderful! Weather was 60-75 degrees and sunny. The community was great and felt very safe. Friendly neighbors chatted with us. The unit was clean and neat and had everything we needed. We realized that we needed to learn to stream, that’s what we get at 65-75 years old. But it was all so beautiful. Can’t wait to return.

Everything was excellent except heating system

Condo was beautiful, roomy, clean, up to date. Location was great. We did have an issue where condo temp hit 56degrees first night and each day, the unit temp would struggle to reach more than 63 degrees until mid afternoon on each of the afternoons we were there. Maintenance was out late in the afternoon twice, but, by that time, it had recovered. I’d suggest asking to confirm it’s fixed before renting in cold weather.

Good Condo

The Condo is good, but it needs an urgent update. Place not so clean, well equipped. The host was an inmediate help and very accomodating. It is a pitty that with two beautifull and spacious bedrooms only double beds are provided. That is the biggest downsize of the vacación.

This property is in a great location but needs some work. The pictures of the back deck and yard must be really old. The deck was filthy (unusable) and vegetation was very overgrown. The walls and baseboards were stained and dirty. The master pillows smelled dirty so I found some extras that were better. The throw pillows on the couch also smelt dirty and needed to be washed. The paint on the kitchen cabinets was dirty/stained. This place needs some fresh paint. It’s been rented a lot and shows. One good thing is that the bathrooms were really clean, and that means a lot to me. I didn’t report it to the owner because this place needed more than just vacuuming and dusting. It was clear that it had been cleaned. It just needed more than the usual cleaning. They would have to scrub the walls, baseboards and cabinets and then probably paint. Since the walls and baseboards are white, they show everything. Lots of handprints, spills and drink and food splashes. So, good location, just needs a refresh.

Great condo in beautiful neighborhood

My husband spent summers in this area as a boy and we decided to come here for a few days to check things out and celebrate our anniversary. The condo is exactly as described. Clean, well-stocked, and a lovely location. FYI...there are about 4 steps from the driveway to the front door. The property manager was very responsive to a few minor issues. For those traveling with a dog(s), this is a good choice. The floors are dog friendly and there are nice areas for short or long walks. I'm glad we were in a developed community. It seems like a very safe area in general, but not being familiar with it myself, I felt better here than being in a single house somewhere in the woods. I didn't see any bears either when the dogs went out for their last trip of the evening! I would stay here again.

Cleanliness issues despite a very high cleaning fee

Our stay and the quality of the accommodations was largely as expected except for some cleanliness issues in the hall bathroom, large stains on the carpet in both bedrooms, and an incredibly squeaky bed in the master. I probably wouldn't return unless some of those issues were corrected, and the cleaning fee is exorbitant given the extensive cleaning requirements the property manager puts on its renters. Overall, I believe this is a relatively low value compared to other properties I've stayed at in the past.

Everything was great. The kitchen is well stocked. We enjoyed the reclining sofa and chair and a half. My only suggestion is for the guest bedroom. The mattress sags and the sheets are pilling.
