Fabulous Property

The property inside is updated and incredibly clean. It is centrally located to all the major tourist attractions. We had a great stay. Dealing with the property owner was easy. She was always reachable. Highly recommended!

Great Holiday Home

This is a great house for a family vacation. It is easy walking distance to a fabulous beach, with areas of beautiful soft sand for sitting and relaxing or for making sandcastles, and an additional rocky beach area filled with tidepools for the more science minded kids. The house is very private, and has a wide array of activities and toys for all ages. The beds are all comfortable, there are numerous sitting areas, and the hosts are helpful and easy to contact. We definitely know where we will be staying on our next trip to Nova Scotia!

The house is very bright, spacious and comfortable, on a secluded spot close to the beach, but no sea vistas. It could be a beach house anywhere US/Canada. Proprietor is responsive to any needs and requests. Trenton, New Glasgow and Pictou are close by for groceries and dining. Great location for day trips up and down the north shore. Ferry to P.E.I. also not far.

Trip canceled due to Hurricane Fiona

We would love the opportunity to rent this property. We received notice 12 hours before traveling to Nova Scotia that we could not access the property due to storm damage. We received a full refund.

Shiite house

Nice house. Great space for all family. We left early as mattresses outdated and uncomfortable. Found multiple mouse traps around house and daily evidence of pill bug infestation. Mentioned to owner. Says he will address.

A wonderful Weekend at Shore House

We, two families with young children and dogs, stayed at Arlis' beautiful cottage and everyone had a great time. The Sore House is very clean, comfortable, well equipped, spacious and nicely decorated. The beautiful Sinclair Island Beach is just 5 minutes walking distance. Arlis is a great host! Very kind, accommodating, easy to talk, and friendly. Totally recommend it!
