Sunshine cottage is conveniently located on the main street of South Katoomba. 1.2km from Katoomba Train Station and Echo Point Visitor Informaiton Centre (Three Sisters), which is a 15-minute walk. It is a short stroll to Aldi, Woolworths and Coles supermarkets.

• 3 Bedrooms: One with a queen-size bed and two with double beds
• 2 Full Bathrooms: Main bathroom with a bathtub, plus an ensuite in the master bedroom
• Linens and Towels Provided
• Heating: Central gas heating and a slow combustion wood fireplace (firewood not provided)
• Electric Blankets: Available for all beds
• Cooling: Air conditioner is available in the living room. Ceiling fans are available in the living room as well as all the bedrooms.

We had a lovely couple of nights at the property. Check in was easy, Minnie was very responsive, psrking easy on the street outside and cottage was cosy.

The house was immaculate and very well equipped. It was warm and comfortable, quiet and homely, with plenty of hot water, fluffy towels and crisp sheets. I'd stay here again in a snap!

Overall the stay here was enjoyable. The location is very convenient for a lot of sightseeing spots in Katoomba and within walking distance to the main town centre. The house was nicely decorated and clean. The lounges were very low for a few of the older guests staying here. The stairs down to the backyard from the deck were also quite steep and the top stair is narrower than the rest so can be a bit dangerous.Due to negligence of previous people staying here (leaving cooked bones in the backyard, etc) the place is not pet safe. One of our dogs had a serious medical issue from ingesting something that was left by someone staying here previously that cut our stay short.

We enjoyed our short stay at Sunshine Cottage. It was close walking distance to the 3 Sisters as well as Katoomba village. The rooms were comfortable, we had excellent WiFi access and used the smart TV and Netflix. the kitchen was well equipped and the deck was lovely and sunny in the afternoon of our second day. On the first day it was cold and rainy but the cottage was perfect for this as we lit a fire and enjoyed the warmth on an unseasonably cold day. We'll be back!

Great location

Easy walk to Three Sisters lookout. Close to town too. On the main road but wasn't noisy (we stayed mid week). Big enclosed yard for our dog.

Wonderful stay

There were 5 of us traveling and loved the location. The home was clean and had the basics. We walked to many things as the location is prime. We did several day trips from here as well. Great times had by all!

Perfect boutique-hotel feel

Lovely property, refreshingly pet friendly. Great communication from owners. Well appointed kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. Great location - short walk one way to Katoomba, the other to Echo Point. Highly recommend.

Nice stay in Katoomba!

Our family was only able to stay one night in this adorable little house, which was in a cute neighborhood. The house was fairly easy to find and was clean, although a bit sparse (I like things on the homey side). It was very cold when we arrived, but after turning on the heating it warmed up enough. The house is fairly close to hiking and restaurants, but there are a lot of hills so just keep that in mind.

The cottage is in a great location and is walkable to the local shops, restaurants, and tourist sites. The house is cute, comfortable, and large enough for three couples. We would book it again.

Cost property/ great location

This property is a very cozy little cottage. Well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The house is appropriately heated for the cold katoomba winters. Great location. Close to all major attractions. Definitely recommend.

Peaceful and cosy

Conveniently located close to town centre and attractions, we enjoyed our stay at this peaceful, tidy and cosy cottage. It would have been even better if there were little touches such as slippers or bathrobes or fire starters
