bring your cleaning supplies

there was blood on the bedroom floor, black mold in the bathroom, the couch is torn up, the floors are uneven, right out the back you are in some ones front yard, had to change the sheets (found bobby pins and tissues in the sheets), total dump, don't do it

Great Location

The home is in a great location, off the beaten path but within 10-20 min from most attractions depending on traffic. The home was well maintained and other than a few left overs pet hairs everything was clean. The pictures do need to be updated as the furniture in the living is not what’s in the pictures, instead of the recliners pictured there is a small sectional that only seats 4 people. Luckily we had brought bean bag chairs with us the kids had planned on using in the bedroom. The beds were clean and comfortable. Over all we were happy with our stay and would probably stay again but was pretty disappointed with the lack of seating in the living room.

Property management sucks

When we arrived it hadn’t been cleaned after the last guests - linens, trash on the floor, etc… We spent the first two hours trying to contact someone until we finally reached the maid. She was able to come clean but we had to stay up and wash the linens and make a trip to store to buy detergent. There were packages left for the landlord that were post marked for a month ago - one of the packages was clearly containing rotting food. Also the property management/host was impossible to communicate with, I am still waiting on a response from them about the issues we had.

Not sufficiently equiped and not controlled for pestss

The house looks like in the pictures however when we came indide we realized it is lack some basics that will allow having a nice vacation: 1. Pests all over the place, the floor, kitchen counter, bathroom etc.... 2. No hot water in the shower - the very nice owner came to fix it but it was still, two nights without.... 3. We were 5 people so we got exactly 5 relatively small towels, when one fell on the wet floor we had to improvise... 4. No basic kitchen supplies like sugar/tea, even the lowest grade hotel has it... Overall, we didn't enjoy the stay.

Good Stay

It was a good stay, had trouble with the key lockbox, didn’t realize a person lives a few feet behind the back porch that should have been noted, and the floors seemed a little uneven through out.

Review

The house was very nice and only had three issues; the back door would not stay shut unless the dead bolt was locked you could literally just push it open, the bedrooms did not have blinds and me or my friends like that at all and lastly the neighbors behind the house were very creepy we caught them watching us throughout the night and it made all of us uneasy.

Cute House!

Perfect location, quiet and away from town but just a few minutes' drive to the main highway in Pigeon Forge. House has new finishes and was very clean. Thanks so much, we had a great time!
