New Bern trip

I really enjoyed staying at the New Bern property. It was very clean and inviting. It was also spacious for me and my family, and I highly recommend staying at this property. It was a wonderful experience.

Nice little spot

We enjoyed our stay here for the Thanksgiving Holiday. House is nice/comfortable. Location is very convenient for activities around New Bern. Very large fenced back yard for those with pets. Thank you, to the hosts.

Tucked away gem

This is the second stay at this location and it was even better the second time around. They had decorated for Christmas prior to our arrival. The house is perfect for up to 6 people. Fenced in backyard. Washer and dryer. You will love this place.

Pleasant stay and had everything to fit our needs

It was a nice place and fit our needs. The only thing wrong was the floor in the bathroom where the toilet is and between the toilet and shower is really soft and feels like your going to fall through.

October Visit

We spent a long weekend with our daughter and son-in-law attending a family reunion. We were able to bring our two dogs with us and they loved having a large, fenced yard in which to run around and play. The house was clean and comfortable for four adults. Would recommend this property as a centrally located home away from home.

Perfect for our need

It was just what we needed for the amount of space and being close to the medical center. It is in close proximity to many businesses. Having a fenced yard was a big perk (has a hole that needs attention and would have been nice if it had been mowed). Recommend this location.

Fenced in yard for dog would have been great minus the husky next door. Living area needs a clock and the front screen door catches on the step. But house was clean and they supplied all essentials, we were happy to see the Keurig machine with coffee and creamer!

Quick Family Stay Quiet and Quaint

The house was clean and perfect for what we needed. My dogs are my babies and I needed a place where I knew they would be safe and have space to run. Huge backyard, nice neighbors and plenty of space. Quiet and quaint. It's in a prime location ,close to everything, Food, stores, downtown....etc. When I return I will be renting here again.

Perfect in almost every way

Property was just as described, and then some. Well appointed in general and nicly decorated for the Christmas season. Easy access to New Bern and highway system to quickly get you anywhere you might want to go. Restaurants and grocery in easy walking distance. Property owner was easy to contact and very responsive. House was clean and comfortable...just like home.

Quiet and Quaint

The house was clean and spacious. It was my husband and mother who accompanied me and our 4 dogs and we weren't falling over each other. The backyard is large and my babies felt right at home. It is close to everything, stores, restaurants and downtown. My sister lives in town and it was very close to her as well. The neighbors were pleasant, even the next door dog made friends with my pups. Very enjoyable stay. I will be back.

Fit our need

We needed some place that was close to the hospital and it was extremely convenient. House was clean, had updated appliances and the beds were comfortable. Nice size fenced yard (grass needed mowing and fence had a hole). Floor is uneven and might be a problem for the elderly. Neighborhood was nice and quiet. Bottles of water and breakfast bars were nice touch pick

Cute house, needs structural improvements ASAP

House was very inviting, clean, layout was perfect! Issue we had was regarding the flooring. Several soft spots throughout the house. Especially the bathroom, throwing you off balance, one member almost fell into tub due to this. You could feel and hear the floor breaking underneath your feet. If elderly was with us, this could have been a danger. Reached out to owners, and no reply. Other than that issue we enjoyed our stay.

Clean and very convenient

The house was very clean and comfortable. Garage was converted into a game room, so it didn’t get too loud inside the house. I was surprised to see cereals bars, oatmeal and k-cups for us to use. The laundry room even one a tide pod and some dryer sheets. Very quiet neighborhood. McDonald’s, KFC, Wendy’s and Walmart marketplace all within 1-2 miles. Big fenced in back yard, our dog loved it. We were about an hour from Morehead Beach, it was super easy to get to.

Property was decent, but had issues

The property felt old, which isn’t bad in itself. However, it felt like there was work to be done, but that never happened. There was new flooring, but the floors were wildly uneven in places, which should have been fixed. Since my Dad is legally blind, that made it challenging for him to navigate.The water pressure is very low and the water at the sink gets so hot you could give yourself 2nd degree burns. Not a good combo.The beds were okay. I usually prefer a bed that is a little more solid. The pillows were like sleeping on air. They are not good for anyone who has acid reflux.The gravel driveway was awful to walk on. This was especially true for my father, who is legally blind. And the stair railing that goes to the front door feels a little loose. Also, the front door, screen door specifically, does not close. It needs to be adjusted.The fridge door makes a weird click and pop sound after you open it so far. I inspected it and it did not appear to be caught on anything.The property was clean. Plenty of towels and other things provided. That was nice.It has the potential to be much nicer, but if you are in a pinch and need a place to stay, this will work.
