Beautiful modern home with outstanding views located in an area rich with activities. The listing was very accurate. My family had a wonderful vacation and we are thankful to have found this house.

Very nice and spacious. Just a few nitpicks which could be addressed for the next guests. The guest voices and television sounds flowed loudly down from the third floor to the second floor bedrooms even when those bedroom doors were closed. Not good for getting more sleep than the early risers. The metal chairs on concrete floor made huge loud noises. There should be pads on the bottom of the chairs to muffle noise. To comply with smart rules about no glass in hot tub area you should provide a good selection of plastic beverage cups. There were only a couple of small plastic ones First and second floor bathrooms did not have good sink drainage.

We have rented many properties over the past 30 years or so and I would rate this one as the best of all of them. It's a unique property in terms of its design, its location and its class. Everything is high-end, high-tech and well thought out. The outside space is spectacular. All rooms have a magnificent view of the St. Lawrence, are spacious, and are elegantly furnished. The hot tub was a bonus. It was very gratifying to find a range of condiments, spices, oil, and other basics in the pantry, and to have a choice of coffee machines. It's an easy drive to La Malbaie, and was our base for forays into the Haute-Gorges and to Baie-Ste-Catherine for whale-watching.It is really an adult/older child rental, rather than suiting young children/toddlers. We had a two-year-old with us and were constantly having to watch him around the lovely suspended fireplace and the wide open stairs. Jonathan is a very responsive, helpful host and answered the few questions we had promptly and usefully. We would definitely rent this house again and highly recommend it.

The bedrooms were small and only one had an ensuite. The kitchen was very well equipped and the TV/lighting were very good. The living room/dining room was on the top floor and 2 of the bedrooms are 2 floors down - so lots of stair climbing. Great view from the walkout deck but there are 2 steps from the living room floor up to the deck and no handle by the door for support.
