Blackberry Bungalow at Whip Poor Will Cabins is a cozy one-room log cabin in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, conveniently located near Hochatown, Beavers Bend State Park, Broken Bow Lake, and the scenic Mountain Fork River. This budget-friendly Beavers Bend cabin rental is perfect for couples and small families seeking comfort, value, and easy access to the area’s top outdoor attractions.

The open-concept layout features two comfortable queen beds, accommodating up to 4 guests. After a day of hiking, boating, or fishing, relax inside by the wood-burning fireplace (firewood provided) or enjoy the peaceful resort setting.

The fully equipped kitchen includes a stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, cookware, utensils, dishes, and dish soap—everything needed to prepare meals during your stay. The cabin also features a full bathroom with shower only and linens provided, along with heating and air conditioning, cable TV, and free Wi-Fi for year-round comfort.

Outside, enjoy the charcoal grill, picnic table, and outdoor fire ring (firewood provided), perfect for relaxing evenings under the pines.

Guests at Whip Poor Will Cabins enjoy access to resort amenities across 15 wooded acres, including stocked fishing ponds, a playground, basketball court, and sand volleyball court—making this a great choice for families visiting the Broken Bow and Hochatown area.

Maximum occupancy is 4 guests, including children and infants.

Pet Friendly: Up to 2 pets under 25 pounds each are allowed with a $50.00 non-refundable pet fee per dog, charged at booking or check-in. Larger dogs must be approved by the office and may be subject to an additional pet fee.

Did not stay at the cabin ac stopped working about a hour when we got there. Then my wife said the mattress or not very clean so we in up getting a hotel a staying the three nights there.it probably nobody's to blame but me you live and learn

Cozy Cabin

The cabins were easy to find not right in town Outside of town secluded. Pretty quiet area lots of trees. The cabins were very cozy. Not crammed together. There's enough space between each cabin to give you your privacy, the only drawback is. I would say that the park area or activity area is a little dated and the pawn needs a little bit cleaning up. I would like to have seen some picnic tables with some small pavilions. By the pond, that would have been great, but overall. The place was quiet and I enjoyed my time there. It's great for a short stay. The overall cleanliness of the cabins were very clean. Well, put together, beds were a little uncomfortable. But overall great cabin rustic. Lifestyle, it's not gonna be your 5 star hotel. This is designed for getting out in nature and enjoy the trees. Getting some fresh air not staying inside a room all day. Getting out walking going to the lake fishing you name it outdoor activity.. I like that. I would definitely book a stay again in the future, great place to have a vacation not far from home me and my family live in Dallas, Texas.

Log cabin

Easy to rent - checkin/out super easy. Very simple and had what we neededHot water and shower were the only thing we were disappointed in. Either cool water or very hot water. Shower very small and could use a better type of shower head.

Cute little cabin. Had all that we needed. The pond was nice, we caught a few perch. This place has a lot for kids to do basketball, volleyball, horse shoes. Only complaints the lock on the door was busted, no broom and the shower was really hard to adjust. We would stay again if we come back to the area.

My Experience

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was just the right size for us (2). The amenities were great. I did have 1 issue. apparently there had been a pet previously in the room. I ended up with pet hair on my clothes before I realized. The lighting didn't reveal it until I was outside in the sun. But, we did enjoy and appreciate the rental. thanks.I would book with Creative Escapes again.

Great getaway from the city

We stayed at the Blackberry Bungalow for a couple of nights over NYE. A superb little cabin stocked with everything you need. We used it as a base to go hiking in the Beavers Bend State Park, it’s only 10 minutes from the visitor centre. The cabin was clean, comfortable, with lots of pans and pots for making delicious meals. Our six year old boy loved fishing in the pond! Free wood was a nice touch, although remember to bring kindling & fire lighters.It’s located very close to the 259 but it’s nice and quiet inside the cabin.A great getaway - would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Had a good time

Loved our little cabin. Built a fire each even in the outside fire pit. . Sat by the pond. Very quiet. Sat in the porch in the mornings with our coffee. Cabin was stocked with everything needed, except food of course. We will be back again

Cozy cabin

Cabin was super cute and functional. Great for just my husband and I. If we had our kids we would probably go with one of the bigger ones as there not much space to put our luggage and toiletries and such.

Baseball tournament stay mom/son stay

It was ok for the two nights we needed in short notice. Make sure to take some flip flops or crocks. The floor is an old wood floor and is dirty. Would have liked a little better lock on the door. Check the fridge it was set on a two it was cold when we got there but when I put all our food in it didn't stay cold and all our food went bad so just check it. After I realized it and turned it down it got cold but unfortunately all our food had got warm by then. The bed by the door was uncomfortable but the one by the wall was comfortable. The pond was fun and my son enjoyed fishing. It wasn't a bad stay but definitely had some things that could use some work.

Blackberry Bungalow

The actual stay was pleasant. However, there were no instructions sent on how to check in and which cabin was ours. The listing has the cabin labeled with a name but all cabins were number upon arrival. No one was there to help us and finally had to call the emergency line to ever get in contact with anyone. Also, when clicking the "Get Directions" button took us to the middle of a driveway no where near our actual cabin.
