Chetola Resort Condo

We had a very relaxing time at Chetola Resort. The condo was very nice. One suggestion: The hanging lamps should all be put up higher, as tall people tend to bump their head on them. The one over the toilet needs to be a canned light instead of a hanging light.

Lovely weekend—very dark condo!

We loved exploring blowing rock and the outdoors—condo was comfortable though very dark and not super clean—there was dishwashing soap but no sponges and we had to wash dishes before using them. No view from condo, but very quiet and lovely location.

Great place…. But ..

I’ve had the pleasure of staying in Chetola many times. Love the place ! This condo was great… a 4,star ! But it had much too many “Knick knacks “ everywhere- stacked books , etc on every table and furniture piece. Also - the lighting was WAY too dark …,25 watt bulbs provide a great mood - but it’s dark in that beautiful condo ! Get some higher watt bulbs, and ditch some of the Knick knacks and it would be perfect! Overall, a great stay !

Very Outdated

This property was so outdated! So dark that I felt like we were staying in a cave. I feel like we were mislead b/c we were under the impression that the Condo had been updated. Their idea of updates included new counter tops and a shower door. The carpet was awfully dirty, the brown ceilings were crazy and the furniture was awful as well. The light fixture in the den, oh my! That needs to go ASAP! I just didn’t appreciate being mislead about the property!

Perfect Birthday Weekend!

I have always wanted to stay at Chetola and finally got my wish! Someone from the staff called me the day before check- in to ask if I had any questions!! So kind and courteous! The young ladies at check in were so nice and helpful! Our dinner at Timberlake Restaurant was perfect and the wait staff was so nice! Our condo was beautifully decorated! The bed was so comfortable! I always look for that component in reviews! The condo is stocked with everything needed. (Bring own shampoo/conditioner). The fireplace was cozy. It was too cold to sit on balcony but would have been a perfect place for morning coffee or evening wine. The grounds are the resort is beautiful and Chetola is only about one minute from the town of Blowing Rock. The entire trip was perfect!

Mountain condo

The property was convenient to Blowing Rock town center. The interior was clean and comfortable. The decor is busy and the lighting very dim. Loved the porch and fireplace. We enjoyed our stay.

Cozy

Very cozy condo. Looks newly remodeled, except for some of the kitchen appliances, but overall everything worked well and it kind of fit the decor. Very dim lighting, but it created a romantic atmosphere. We would definitely stay again.
