Close to the action

My family (all 21+) stayed here for a few weeks over the summer. The house is lovely—clean, well equipped, spacious with lots of outdoor decks. Parking is easy. Extremely close to the beach and downtown area which was great for the younger members of the family. Lots of restaurants and bars all walkable. The neighborhood was loud at night, with fireworks dragging on for weeks after July 4. That’s the only downside.

Close to beach and walk to dining!

The property was great!! It is noisy though because you are right in the heart of all the action! Loved the rooftop patio and the next-door neighbors were so very nice!! You can hear the waves when sleeping in the upper deck bedroom. Thank you for hosting us!! If you have a dog, Dog Beach is a must! And the outdoor shower made it easy to wash the sand off of the pups!! (and ourselves) :)

nice house

a nice and comfortable house to stay with a responsive host to issues. Close to downtown and restaurants. The only downside to this is the noise on Friday and Saturday nights is loud for the traffic and people going by the house at night.

Plenty of space, comfortable beds, adequate wifi, nice proximity to the beach and nice to have our pet join us. Needs work and the neighborhood was noisy for us.

Hi Susan, we accommodated you in your last minute booking with an unbeatable price and were so responsive and did everything we could for you to have a good stay, including replacing the fridge with a new one and giving you a credit for the inconvenience. Some of the work that needed to be done we could have fixed, and we offered to have someone do it, but you told us you did not want anyone at the house which is totally understandable due to COVID. My husband and I were not able to check the house ourselves prior to you moving in due to the short turnaround, as you were aware, so we did not know of the things that were broken/needed to be fixed. And in regards to the noise, any place close to downtown is usually noisy.

Great stay all around

This house is perfect in location with plenty of space for the entire family. We stayed for several months earlier this year. Lawrence and his assistant were both so very accommodating, friendly, and helpful. When we needed to extend our stay, we were able to with no issues. It's truly a great house in a great location with walking distance to everything. My daughter enjoyed the street fair on Tuesday nights.

Great Spring Break Trip

The home was the perfect size for 8 of us and close to everything. Beach is only a block away and Main Street is two blocks away. Would definitely stay again. Owners were very accommodating.

Perfect Vacation

My husband and I and all of the kids and grandkids met at this rental to enjoy some much needed time together as a family. It was easy to access with a lock box by the front door so we didn't have to go anywhere to pick up a key. We were so excited with the roominess and the amenities that this rental offered. It had everything we needed and then some (there was even laundry soap, dishwasher soap, TP, paper towels etc and even movies to watch). There was plenty of room for everyone. There were several blow up mattresses for the grandkids and plenty of bedding and towels etc. There were several "patios" to enjoy the outdoors as well. Two patios on the main floor and one on the rooftop (the rooftop and the main patio both had BBQ's). And there was enough parking for our needs which was great!! Everyone was great to work with and responded to emails with questions quickly, and the deposit was returned about 9-10 business days after the stay. We are definitely planning on meeting back at this beach house again next year

Overall our stay was great! The house was perfect for our needs. Really good location. Weather perfect - cool breezes, so no need for air conditioning. Walk to everything you need. I would go back and recommend it.

Huntington Beach House

The house is perfectly located near Main Street, where there's plenty of restaurants and bars to explore. The beach seems like 20 steps from the house. The house included beach cruisers making it really fun and easy to ride around Huntington Beach. The rooftop patio is a great place to hang out with friends and family while getting to view the beach and the area around the house. I highly recommend this beach house! Our experience was hands down one of the best to date.

My wonderful California Beach vaccation

I had the pleasure of spending 10 days at this amazing house. It is only one block away from the beach and perfectly located in close proximity to great restaurants and other entertainment. I spend my days walking the beach as well as attempting surfing, in the evening I barbequed on the private roof top deck with a beach view. This house is perfect for a romantic getaway, family vacation, or for people who simply appreciates the good things life has to offer. I will definitely come back again!

Perfect Beach House in Prime Location!

This is a perfect house if you want to be close to the beach and close to Main street! I did not have to use my car at all! We stayed 6 people, all very comfortable. The house was nice and clean when we got there, and it provided all promised amenities. I love the fact that they had beach cruisers available, which made it fun and easy to get around! I will definitely recommend this property and hopefully come back soon. We all had a great time!

Great Location, Good for Family with Teens

Our family of six, dad, mom, 21 yr old son, and 3 daughters ages 19, 16 and 12, enjoyed staying at the rental. It was a couple of blocks from the beach and pier. Plently of beach towels and chairs were provided for our use. It was two blocks from Main Street, however the area wasn't as noisy as I expected. There were a variety of nearby places to eat, from Ruby's on the pier to Cucina Alessa, an Italian restuarant in a quieter section away from the busiest part of Main Street. Both restuarants were within walking distance. When we had a problem, the office worked very quickly to help us to our satisfaction. I would definitely stay at this property again.

Location is great, some cautions about renting this house

Huntington Beach is a fun beach town with lots of amenities and things to do. This house is a great location, but had some issues - leaks, garage door broke and our car was stuck inside for 2 days, with no consideration in rental price. Biggest issue was the deposit - rental required large deposit, that the owner held onto far longer than outlined in the contract. We had to follow up several times, usually without a response, before we FINALLY got our deposit back.

This house is in a great ...

This house is in a great location for downtown Huntington Beach, the beach, and the pier. The owner provides lots of extras like tissues, soap, etc. We visited a lot of beach towns on this trip and HB is one of the nicest next to Laguna Beach. Very spacious, clean home, would highly recommend it. Six of us were very comfortable. Friendly neighbors as well!
