Updated Siesta Key Vacation Rental at Bay Oaks

Recently fully renovated and tastefully decorated 2-bedroom 2 bathroom 2nd Floor condo in the very desirable island community of Bay Oaks. Bay Oaks offers a heated pool, barbecue grill area, tennis courts, fishing area on the intra-coastal and pool table in the club house. Vacation on beautiful Siesta Key less than a ten-minute walk to the public beach access with provided beach chairs, towels, and cooler... everything you need to enjoy the pristine beach across the street. Located 1/2 mile from Siesta Key "South-end Village" with shopping, restaurants, and bars. If you are looking for even more selection, Siesta Key Village is also just 2 miles north.

Step inside and you will enter the main living area furnished with dining table with seating for 4 and the living room area furnished with comfortable lounge seating couches with a flat screen TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, stove, oven, dishwasher, and microwave. You will find that the home has all the cookware and dish-ware you need to make your stay comfortable. You can do your own laundry in this home, as there is a washer and dryer inside for your convenience! Around the corner you will find the guest bedroom and bathroom. The guest bedroom is furnished with queen-size bedroom set along with a twin to sleep your guests and family. The guest bathroom is equipped with tub/shower combo. Moving down the hall you find the master suite. The master bedroom is furnished with a king-size bedroom set and access to walk-in closet as well as the en-suite bathroom which is equipped with stall shower and double sink vanity.

There is a handy free island trolley that runs the length of the island when you don't want to drive. You can also give a call to one of the "free rides".

Whether it be a family vacation or just a romantic couple getting away on holiday or a much-needed vacation, you can't go wrong.

No pets allowed at this community. No smoking permitted in the condo. One carport is provided with additional guest parking if needed.

Bay Oaks has a minimum stay restriction of 7 days

We had a wonderful stay at Bay Oaks! The unit and location were great, just as described. We had some communication issues on getting the check-in information which caused some stress; however, we got it resolved just prior to arrival.

Nice clean property. Ten minute walk to the beach. Short drive or trolley ride from restaurants and shops. Pool was very nice and clean.

This property was cute, clean, nice updating, good access to the rest of the area. The only downside was the vanity lights in both of the bathrooms, I don't think they were wired correctly and kept going out.

Needs some help

Needs upgrade, rugs worn and stained,under couches was filthy,cooking pans old and teflon was worn food stuck and burned, hot water faucet in main bedroom leaked. Beds were ok but not the best for aging adults, just one dish towel, and master bed spread was stained.

Beach Vacation

The condo was just as described & fit my family of 4 adults comfortably for a week. Bedrooms were spacious with room belongings. We enjoyed the pool area, morning coffee on dock & were grateful for the beach chairs, towels & small cooler for use all week. The only things we might change or should be noted by owners are: kitchen could use some food storage containers, some plastic cups for pool area use, and correct size pillow cases (king) for master bedroom as they were about 2-3 inches short. In addition info on how to find condo in complex would be helpful. We got in late but a very kind person helped guide us. It all worked out! We had a lovely week in SK!

Overall the property was great with the exception of having to buy toilet paper & trash bags bc we were supplied with partial rolls in each bathroom & only one trash bag. I have to say that’s a first for me & didn’t realize that would be the case. Also, the closest public beach access #12 is a half mile away so it was a bit more of a walk than expected along a busier street. We opted for driving a mile the other direction to the beach where there was plenty of parking & much less distance to carry all of our beach gear.

I definitely would like to extend a sincere apology that the unit didn't have an adequate amount of bathroom amenities and trash bags! It definitely should have had one full roll in each bathroom completely wrapped so that if more was needed it would be there. We will review these comments with our staff to ensure the home always has enough supplies for a guest, and I thank you very much for bringing to our attention! Have a great upcoming holiday!!

Bay Oaks Siesta Key

Property was as advertised and worked for our family trip. Thankfully, we had friends with direct beach access we were able to take advantage of using otherwise, super crowded and limited parking public beach access would have been the only option. A drip leak in one of the handles of a bathroom sink and slider that didn't stay locked were a minor annoyance but nothing that kept us from using any of the unit. Pleasantly surprised that beach towels were provided - I may have missed in the listing. From a security perspective, there was no deadbolt (even though advertised) but a door chain that appeared to have previously ripped out as the screws weren't fully in. We didn't use it and had no issues...still would have preferred to be able to deadbolt the door for more peace of mind. All in all, the place worked well for our vacation plans. Just remember to bring some extra TP...you only get one roll per bathroom for a whole week!
