Built in 1945, this updated 4-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom vacation rental features a private outdoor pool and a patio space to enjoy long days in the sun, and the sprawling yard is perfect for your furry friends! Please be aware of this and keep doors closed while going in and out as there are no screen doors
- NOTE: Your safety matters. This property features 2 exterior security cameras. The cameras are Ring doorbells located on the front and back doors. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The cameras record video and sound when activated by motion
- NOTE: No smoking or burning of anything inside the house including candles and incense. Birthday candles on a cake are an exception
- NOTE: The seasonal outdoor pool is open from April to October. The pool is not heated, and it is cleaned weekly
- NOTE: The fireplaces in the living room and game area are decorative only
- NOTE: The baby grand piano is decorative only
- NOTE: The WiFi can be spotty in Fort Valley

Terrible SMELL, an owner in denial about property condition, scrambling to find an alternate place to stay for 12 people at 10:00 pm Wednesday before Thanksgiving, and ultimately needing to calling the police. These were the issues I dealt with at this property. Immediately after stepping foot into this house, there was a very evident smell of mold and mildew, along with an obnoxious amount of air freshener sprays that have been used to try to mask the odor. Very clean and spacious

We enjoyed every aspect of the house. There was plenty of space for my family of 12. The pool was awesome and everyone enjoyed the pool table. It was a great weekend getaway and a nice place to stay.

House was clean. When we arrived the televisions and WiFi were not connected and the house alarm was beeping. We contacted the property manager who did immediately respond with how we could rectify this situation. We could not resolve these issues so then requested someone to come to the house. My wife and I had to leave for an event leaving our remaining party behind. Upon our return no one had come by. Finally at 8 pm someone arrived, fixed the TV and WiFi’s and simply disconnected the alarm system. House was advertised as 5 bedrooms. The 5th bedroom was located at the entrance of the house and lacked air circulation and privacy. We had to call the property manager to ask about where this 5th bedroom was located. Bedroom descriptions need more accurate info. Another room was advertised as 2 two twin beds which were bunk beds. Our 80 yr old guests could not use that room. Mattresses were very soft. There was a ring of algae around the bottom of the pool and the Koi pond needed some attention. However, the most disappointing part of our stay was there was an overpowering air freshener scent all through the house. This was used to disguise a mildew odor. As the weekend progressed, the mildew scent permeated our clothes and luggage. Upon returning home, everyone had to wash everything and some how air out all the luggage.

Check-in could have been a little smoother if they would have mentioned the need for pressing the # key after entering our code. Also, the trash should have been emptied sooner, because the cans were already full from the previous renters. Also, two of the showers need to be updated and the kitchen needs more powerful AC. Communication with the manager was great and the kids had a great time playing in the ample amount of space.

Getaway with the dogs

The visit at the house was amazing, the house is beautiful and the pool was great. The backyard was the perfect place for the dogs to run and we really needed a getaway away fro. The city. This was perfect.

Served our Needs Well

We used this property as a gathering for immediate family before we all attended a larger family reunion in a nearby town. We had plenty of room to spread out and to cook our meals, including the use of the grill outside. The kids, large and small, enjoyed the trampoline. Maggie, the dog, had room for zoomies in the yard. Several games of pool and ping pong were played. Unfortunately, it was too cool for the pool. We did experience some technology glitches but the manager and owner were incredibly responsive and got a repairman out right away. That attentiveness alone makes this place an easy recommendation if you need room for a group.

Aguina Wedding

We gathered here at this cottage with family and friends for our youngest sons wedding at the Magnolia Mule Barn Venue. It was just what we needed to accommodate everyone. Great place!!!

Lovely place for families and furry friends

Very nice house with great fenced back yard. Bedrooms were comfortable and living areas were really super great. It would be ideal for families (pool table, large yard, swimming pool and koi pond). The neighborhood was such that I didn't want to walk alone with my pup at night. There was police activity on a side street near by. No problems at all close to the house. Grocery store nearby, with some local restaurants. Easy shot to Fairgrounds (about 20 - 30 minutes). Period architecture in the house, especially in the bathrooms, but lovely hardwood flooring in main home and a workable kitchen with adequate dining area. I would certainly go again. Generally speaking, I expect to put garbage out but not to have to strip beds. The cleaning fee should truly cover that.

Big family vacation

Our family stayed here with some extended family members. The house was a perfect fit for our 11 people. The owner was amazing and had everything we needed covered for our stay. Any questions we had were quickly answered and we worried about nothing the entire time.

Koi Pond Home is Lovely

We had a group rent this beautiful home as we were attending a special function. We had guests from Illinois, Colorado, Alaska and England. The home is beautiful with a lovely history. The beds are extremely comfortable, great water pressure for good showers and very nice linens. We cooked at the house every evening and utilized the bbq as well as all the utensils provided for cooking great meals. There were welcome snacks, dog bowls for our pets, food for us to feed the Koi fish 2x daily which was super fun. Kids enjoyed the trampoline. Fully fenced HUGE yard was enjoyed by our pointers neighborhood was so quiet we could hear the song birds inside the house. Spent so much time outside on the patio. We can’t wait to visit again next year. Move forward with booking this home, you won’t be disappointed.

We all loved this house. We had 3 different families in this house and there was tons of room for everyone. The property manager was great. We definitely would love to return and the kids didnt want to leave.

Great getaway!

We booked this house to stay in with our younger children while our oldest attended camp in the area. We had a great time! There was plenty to do with the pool and trampoline. There was also an awesome game room with pool table, ping pong table as well as several board games. The house had plenty of room and the kids loved the bunk beds! Also, we loved the koi pond! Feeding the koi fish was a highlight of the day! Such a fun property with great amenities!

Love the Koi House

Beautiful house with unique history. Beds super comfortable as were the pillows. Great laundry room which we used. We ate at the house every night and there was all the pans and utensils we needed. BBQ was an added bonus. Teens loved the trampoline. The neighborhood was so quiet you could hear the songbirds outside when you were in the home. Huge yard fully fenced so our pointers had a blast running the yard. Koi pond was fun and we got to feed the fish 2x a day which we all enjoyed. Planning another trip at the same time next year and will definitely book this home.

Great property an host!

We absolutely loved the house, it accommodated our family perfect. Plenty of spaces, rooms and bathrooms so that everyone had enough privacy. The only thing I could say was the yard needed some cleaning and maintenance. The tall grass and random things throughout the yard made it harder for the kids to play ball and enjoy everything the Koi house had to offer but we will be back! Already looking into another trip! 10/10 host as Dr, Johnson was amazing with communication and the sweet snack basket made all the kiddos happy! Thank you so much!

Great house !

We stayed at the coi pond house during our recent trip in fort valley! This house was great! Due to the area not having much to do we were very satisfied with all the amenities the house had to offer especially the pool table!
